Cadence

If you're still yet to experience the wonderful Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda for yourself - we haven't had to type all of that out for a while - then you're in luck, as a demo has now been released to let players check it out for free.

A demo for the game appeared the on Japanese eShop yesterday (we were halfway through writing an article on how you lovely lot could get your hands on it) but it's now also popped up on the European eShop. You can find it waiting for you on the eShop, or you can simply head here and start the download from your computer/tablet/phone/whatever fancy gizmo you're using to visit us.

We'd certainly suggest giving the game a go if you get the chance. Here's a snippet of our review - it's pretty safe to say we enjoyed it:

By allowing a talented indie developer to play in the universe, Nintendo has gained a fantastic entry in the franchise that feels like a celebration – specifically of its music, a part of the series destined to take a back seat as the majesty of Hyrule is increasingly conveyed through the scale of its world rather than melodies from the days when the 'kingdom' was really a walled garden. Cadence of Hyrule is not just a brilliant game, it's a brilliant Zelda game - one that you won't want to miss.

There's no sign of the demo on the North American eShop at the time of writing, but hopefully it'll appear later on today.

Will you use the demo as a chance to try it out? Already played it a gazillion times? Tell us below.
