Update: We’ve now added the launch trailer above. Enjoy!

Indie developer and publisher Finji has announced that Wilmot's Warehouse, a puzzle game 'for people who like to organise stuff' is dropping on Switch (and PC) next week on Thursday 29th August.

You play as Wilmot, a square employee at A5 Logistics responsible for keeping a warehouse in order. Products are delivered in a random order and it's your job to collect, catalogue and store the lot until they're needed. Exactly how you go about doing that is left entirely up to you, as the official blurb tells us:

Organise by colour, type, the Dewey Decimal System, or some wild format that only you understand - it’s all good! Just remember where you put everything, because when the service hatch opens, you'll need to find the things people want quickly, in order to earn the coveted Performance Stars required for all manner of upgrades to improve the warehouse.

Coming from developers Ricky Haggett and Richard Hogg, the pair responsible for indie games Frobisher Says and Hohokum, the game started out life as a Humble Original back in 2018, but this new version will feature new systems, modes and levels. Below are some screenshots, but this is one where you'll really have to watch the trailer to get your head around what's going on.

We love a good puzzler and there are plenty to choose from on Switch, but if this is as fun as the trailer suggests, we'll certainly be investigating this package when it launches on Switch next week.

Reckon your organisation skills are up to the challenge of Wilmot's Warehouse? Let us know by organising a brief and witty comment to be deposited below, but whatever you do, don't mention the ubiquitous company named after a large river in South America.
