On 31st July, Pokémon GO trainers around the world will be able to capture the legendary dragon/flying-type pocket monster, Rayquaza. This magnificent creature returns to Raid Battles and will be available until 2nd September.

If you're really lucky, you might even encounter a shiny Raquaza, as you can see above.

The Sky High Pokémon returns to Pokémon GO Raid Battles from July 31, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT until September 2, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT. The powerful Dragon type is much sought after for the incredible damage it can dish out as a party member, and this time, collectors should be just as excited as enthusiastic battlers. Very lucky Trainers may encounter Shiny Rayquaza for the first time during this reappearance, so make sure to battle the Legendary Pokémon as often as you can!

The same tactics as previous encounters against Rayquaza will work. It's weak against Ice-type moves and Rock, Dragon and Fairy-type attacks also deal a substantial amount of damage.
