Towers of Twin Dragons

When you make it to the Towers of Twin Dragons, proceed up the tower and go inside of it. Continue up and left until you reach the room with the three Poltergeists in it. Earlier, we couldn’t go up but now that we have Double Jump, we can continue our trek through the Towers of Twin Dragons.

Head up the platforms near the Poltergeists and go left. Climb up onto the moving gear and duck to avoid taking heavy damage from the spikes. Exit out the right side and you’ll be back outside the tower. Now, to get to where we’re heading, simply continue up the path until you walk through a doorway and back into the tower.

If you want, there are quite a few drop offs that Miriam can go down to open up blue chests with ingredients and more. Feel free to do that as you’d like and when you’re ready to continue, climb back up the main path and head for the inside of the tower.

Inside the tower, head right, hop onto the gears and go left. When you reach a wall to the left, attack it to get an MP Max Up. After this, jump up onto the platforms to go to the next area.

Up here, there are some Poltergeists and a new enemy called a Shield Outsider. Simply hop over this enemy and attack it from behind to kill it. After that, head into the room on the left to discover a stained glass portal.

After inspecting the portal, exit the room and this time, go right. The following hallway with have a green chest with a Special Ammunitions Recipe in it. After picking that up, head right. In the next room is a lever that you must inspect. Upon doing so, you’ll unlock a lift that can take you back to the beginning of the Towers of Twin Dragons area. Ignore that for now and continue to the right.

In the next room, there is a bookcase you should inspect to learn some more backstory. There is also a blue chest with 100 gold inside. Continue right into a hallway with three Poltergeists in it. Take them out and enter the room on the right to find a blue chest with an Emerald and Sapphire inside. After picking those up, go back into the Poltergeists room and drop through the platform on the floor.

In this room, jump over to the ledge on the right and attack the wall to get the Invisible Blade. From here, jump onto the gear moving to the left and jump from it to a ledge to get a brown chest with a High Potion inside. After picking that up, allow yourself to fall down the platforms on the left and take the gears to the right. Drop down some more platforms and ride the gears over the spikes on the ground. From here, get on the floor and take the stairs down.

Inspect the bookcase to learn the Helmsplitter technique and then go right to find a Save Room.

After you save, leave the Save Room and head left through one door and left again through another. In this room is a lever you can interact with to open up a shortcut that can take you back to the lift.

Head back to the room before the Save Room and drop down through the floor. Go right and attack the wall to get the Riding Habit Armor. After that, go left, drop through the floor and go right to find a boss door.

Here’s what your map should look like after your return to the Towers of Twin Dragons.

Boss Fight: Valac

D P1YowU8AAqlO9

After two easier bosses, Valac will certainly present a challenge to you. But, as long as you know what he’s going to try to do, you’ll be set.

Valac relies on three main moves and one special move. The first move to look out for is a bite. One of Valac’s two heads will rear back and in a second or two, that head will bite. Dodge it and then prepare for the other head to do the same thing. Attack in-between these bites.

Another move you’ll see is basically the same thing as the bite attack except Valac will use its tongues to attack. Dodge those and attack when you can. The third main move to look out for is a fire breathing attack. This one is especially important to be cautious of because one wrong move during the attack can bring your HP to zero.

Basically, Valac’s heads will take turns spitting fire at you in a sweeping motion. The right head will spit fire toward the left and the left head will answer that call by spitting fire to the right. In between these two streams of fire is a gap where Miriam can safely reside. Slide, run and jump however you need to remain in this gap.

Every so often, Valac will traverse down the tower. Simply follow suit and attack as often as possible.

The final move you really need to look out for is a massive damage attack that can easily kill you. Every so often, Valac’s eyes will glow red. In a few seconds, Valac will smash both of his heads together with hopes to find you in between. While this move can easily kill you, it’s easily dodged by simply ducking under the smash attack.

As long as you’re able to dodge these moves and attack when you can, in about one or two minutes, Valac will be defeated.

After you’ve killed Valac, head down the sloped path quite a ways until you reach a gold chest. Open it up and inside is Silver Bromide, which if you remember, is something Dominique tasked you with retrieving at the start of the game.

Before we go to the next area, return to Arvantville using either a stained glass portal or a Waystone. Once there, go to Dominique and give her the Silver Bromide. She’ll use this to take your picture. This will allow you to get Identification.

Now that you have Identification, use a stained glass portal to go to Livre Ex Machina where Orlok Dracule is.

D P1efIUYAE7mwh

Speak to him and because you have Identification, he’ll create for you a Passplate, which is an item we need to open the path to the next area, the Bridge of Evil.

To get to the next area, travel to the Garden of Silence stained glass portal. Then, jump up and continue right until you reach the bottommost right exit. This exit is right before the door that takes you to the Twin Dragons tower. Continue right and you’ll go through a door that takes you to the next area of Bloodstained.
