Free Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board Challenge Pack Available To Switch Online Subscribers

World of Light was actually pretty fun once you accept it’s not “competitive” Smash. Instead it’s fun to cheeze the system and look for ways to utilize spirits to overcome. (My favorite is starting the battle with a “Big” power-up, like from a Super Mushroom, and then attach spirits that extend the time of transformation. So fun to just crush everything like that.)

PLUS! defeating WoL is the only way to unlock Menu music options, so you can have classic Melee and Brawl music in the Menus. Well worth the effort!
But now, I couldn’t care less about Spirits...

1500SP and a bunch of things to sell is more like it. I only ever use the shield spacer and slowdown items. Still a nice treat.

@Ryan_again I use a giant metal Ridley. Down Smash all day 😂

At least the ToyCon spirits are appearing again. Finally got them.
Anyone know which are the ones missing after Links awakening spirits?

@fafonio It's all the Dragon Quest ones. Four Fighter Spirits, seven Board Spirits, two of which are enhanceable.

What would be more helpful would be a bonus mode in which players could complete difficult waves of random spirits in order to earn specific ones they're missing. It'd help them stand up to the RNG gods.

Where is the Protoman Mii costime?

This isn't a complaint exactly, but the title "challenge pack" does make it sound like it adds challenges, like bonus spirits or harder rematches. This is more of an item pack. It didn't take enough of my time to download to be annoyed though.
