Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came out in December and since then there's been an onslaught of spirit events. This week is no different, with Nintendo announcing via social media the next three-day event "Making a Splash" starts this Friday. Here are the details:
The three-day spirit event "Making a Splash" starts on 07/06!
Aquatic spirits will spill onto your Spirit Board! Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual. #SmashBrosUltimate
This time around you'll earn more gold than usual as you attempt to add the blue Pikmin, Blooper from Super Mario and Starly from The Legendary Starfy to your spirit collection.

I swear every one of these spirit board SSB things always gets my hopes up when I see the characters in the picture.
Then I read the title and realize... "Oh, another spirit board thing."
I mean, I am still glad NL posts this stuff. Me getting my hopes up about something else is my fault.

@Heavyarms55 Ah, fair enough. I thought you meant that you were disappointed it wasn't a massive character reveal. And I was about to say that would have been dumb to get your hopes up for that lol.

@edgedino me too. Normally I check these for any new spirits, but at 1,282 spirits right now I’m more focused on hunting down the last few regular ones I need...
I love these events. I adore the game.
I would take part of this if every spirit in the Spirit Board event were in the damn store if you couldn't get ALL of them within 3 days time. We all work for a living, give us a break and let us 100% the game by adding these in shop please.
