Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer might be arriving on the Switch eShop later this month, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about the rhythmic action-adventure game.

During an interview with 4Gamer at Bitsummit 7 Spirits in Japan, Brace Yourself Games revealed more about the development process and what players could expect from the final release. Lead designer Oliver Trujillo explained how Nintendo wanted the Zelda lore to remain intact:

“They had quite a hand in supervising the appearance of story details for the Triforce. They emphasized that they wanted the series’ lore and mysteriousness to stay intact even in this title.”

When asked about the number of music tracks in the game, apparently there “are a lot” and there's a strong focus on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past:

“I can’t give a specific number, but I’d just like to say that there are a lot. With particular focus on A Link to the Past, many songs from across the series will show up.”
