Katana Zero has been one of the standout indie releases of 2019. Now, a little over a month after its release on the Switch and PC, the game's developer Askiisoft has revealed a significant update is arriving at the end of May.

This will include a brand new hard mode, speedrun mode and a fixed optional stealth level. Apart from this, you'll also be able to pet a cat. Here's the official announcement along with some extra details:

The Switch eShop release in Australia and New Zealand also gets a mention. As we found out a few days ago, the ban on the game has been overturned by the Classification Board in this region, after being refused last month.
