Rhythm-action title MUSYNX is finally arriving in Europe today, publisher PM Studios has revealed.
The game first launched on Switch in North America last summer; we gave it an 8/10 in our review, saying the following:
Barebones in organisation and structure but absolutely joyous in its presentation, Musynx is pure rhythm game fun. Excellent, upbeat music that focuses on lesser-exported areas of Asian pop, charming, cleverly creative visuals, and rock-solid gameplay in both button and touch modes all come together in a lovely, personality-filled package. If you like a strong sense of progression in your music games, Musynx’s straightforward setlist approach will leave you wanting; but if the idea of booting up into a free-play menu of 90+ songs and working to beat your personal bests sounds like your idea of a good time, you’ll be in rhythm heaven here.
Now, it will finally be released on the European eShop for €29.99; it'll appear on the store later today.
To celebrate this new release, all versions of the game on Switch and PS4 will also receive a brand new update today which will add 28 new songs for free. We have a full song list of these new additions below.

I imported an American physical copy at launch. Didn't even realise it wasn't out everywhere yet.
I actually thought it would never come to Europe. Props they got it released over here
Steam: €3.29 https://store.steampowered.com/app/952040/MUSYNX/
eShop: €29.99
Oh it's actually a slightly rebranded free to play mobile game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coweye.musync.googleplay&hl=nl
@HumanDog The switch edition comes with dlc songs included in the price, the steam version and mobile version do not. You'll be dropping a comparable sum of money to get either of these versions with all they have to offer.
@HumanDog here is a test for you. Go and buy either version. Pay for all the tracks you get with the switch/PS4 version and let me know how much you have finally paid.
Let's see it is under £29.99
I bought VOEZ and I have to say that having access to a massive list of playable songs from the start just left me bewildered. It's a fun game but it's very difficult to find the songs I like so I don't really bother with it any more.
Sometimes more isn't better.
@PlickPlick I'd rather pay €3.29 and pay for the DLC if I actually like it instead of having to spend €30 up front for all the songs I probably wouldn't have bought otherwise.
@HumanDog that's fair I suppose.
@HumanDog Well I guess it's good that there's those other versions for people like you then. I prefer just paying for a complete game and wouldn't have even touched it if it went with a free-to-play model so the Switch version is perfect for me. Guess everyone can be happy.
Sweet! I’ll probably get it now or next month.
Can't decide between this or Voez for my first rhythm game on Switch.
I have VOEZ, and I will get this one someday!
Avid rhythm gamer here. While I enjoy Taiko no Tatsujin with Controller on PS4 and touchscreen on switch, I have Input lag issues with switch controllers. Also Superbeat Xonic feels great with controllers on PS4 but sucks on Switch.
Is this game any different oder does it suffer the same issues? Input lag, no matter if docked or Portable are game breaking for me and i don’t buy any rhythm games for switch.
Could anyone already try it out?
Forgot this was coming out. Maybe in a couple weeks.
@Ulysses I'd highly recommend Superbeat Xonic to that list too.
VOEZ has the largest song-list and all of them are unlocked from the start. It is best played with touch controls.
Superbeat Xonic plays bests with controls and has unlockable songs and customizations while you level up your profile. You also use both joysticks and buttons.
Musynx has custom button controls and a varied playlist but all songs are unlocked from the start.
