Japanese chart figures are now in for 11th - 17th February, revealing New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has been pushed down to third place. It's been replaced by Bandai Namco's new fighting game Jump Force in first and the PlayStation 4 version of the new Atlus release, Catherine: Full Body.

Switch > All other platforms together x2
I thought PS vita has been discontinued since January 2019...
It amazes me that characters alone can sell an otherwise VERY mediocre fighting game. To each their own, though.
Lot of new PS4 releases this week. Most of them will probably drop out of the top 20 within the next two weeks.
Of course Nintendo didn't take the top spot vs actually new titles. Nintendo didn't have any heavy hitters this week.
Though I still don't think any of these numbers matter anymore - since they don't count digital sales. Only console numbers matter in my view.
RIP PS Vita, you will be miss soon.
@dockellisd I agree. I kept hoping the switch launch game would come over at least as a digital title to the west. I guess I might pick it up for the PS4.
Jump Force isn't a very good game. I wish it had turned out better.
The concept of Jump Force seemed awesome. But the execution leaves much to be desired. You'd think with all these expensive franchises being involved, they would have pulled out all the stops and given us at least something as polished as the average DBZ fighter. But nope, once the novelty wears off, you're left with something that shouldn't have costed you 60 bucks.
Unfortunate. :/
When 70,000+ PS4 owners wanted to play a crossover fighting game but don't own a Switch, it seems like they all got really desperate and bought a pile of doo-doo instead.
I don't see why people take offense to another console's game doing well. Seems silly to me.
I won't lie: I'm playing through Jump Force right now and although there are flaws scattered about (Cheap AI and story, to name the few), I am enjoying it. Though not a "good" game, I did find it to be pretty decent.
That said, I'm not opposed to triple-dipping on New Super Mario Bros U on my Switch in the future, but not at the $60.
@michellelynn0976 Me too, but I am enjoying it regardless.

Can't be any worse than this game here:

@StephenYap3
Never heard of that game. Doesn't look like a big crossover fighting game from a major publishers like Smash Bros or Jump Farce.
One Piece: Gigant Battle for the DS. That game is the mix of Jump Super Star and Smash, and it's pretty good.
Now, some polishing, a stronger hardware and making it JUMP themed instead of focusing in one franchise-only, you get a legit competition to Smash.
But who cares the ramblings of a madman, let's just keep making these """totally awesome""" battle arenas.
The race to 3m between Smash and Splatoon will be close!
Three million physical sales in Japan alone for both Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a given, who’s gonna do it first though? Place your bets...
@Rob3008 our comments were about 12 seconds apart 😂
It would had been really interesting if Jump Force would have also been released on Switch as well, to see which version would have sold best. It's really interesting to note that, despite having the first two positions in software sales, both PS4 and PS4 Pro sales have been down compared to last week. They're really on the twilight of their life cycle.
@Anti-Matter Still will have to wait for them to sell through their stock.
@Spudtendo Guest characters have always helped games boost sales. Mortal Kombat, and Soul Calibur have all gotten a ton of hype and sales from them, and Smash is more or less a video game equivalent of Jump Force. It's hardly surprising.
For what it's worth, the gameplay seems to be fine (maybe not enough to find a competitive crowd), it just seems to have big problems visually (Sonic '06 comparisons aren't a good sign). I also think people who like these kinds of things would have wanted something different from the usual arena fighter that Jump games get, though probably not enough to diminish interest in the game.
@Anti-Matter Digital games can still release on the vita still, and some company's still have available cartridges to use to put more games out on. So they are not all used up the vita cartridges yet, so we still get some physical releases for it.
@westman98 It isn't a crossover fighting game at all, pretty sure he is just saying that it is a worse fighter game.
