There’s no shortage of turn-based tactics games on the eShop, but if you’ve exhausted the bulging catalogue of options already, you’re in luck – Ellada Games is bringing Tortuga Team’s Braveland Trilogy to Switch.
It’ll include the three Braveland games previously released on PC and mobile in one package, with the original plus Braveland Wizard and Braveland Pirate, each providing a slightly different spin on the classic turn-based gameplay.
Here’s a list of key features detailed in the press release from the Kaliningrad-based devs:
· Three-in-one Fun: Get Braveland, Braveland Wizard, and Braveland Pirate all in one great bundle. Each game offers a unique take on your character, from magic schools to pirate tricks, there’s something special about each game in the series!
· Tons of Turn-based Bliss: Dozens of hours of gameplay and story will keep players endlessly engaged
· Monster Madness: Each game in the Braveland Trilogy adds more allies to recruit, fiends to fight, and bosses to battle. There’s always something, or someone, fresh to find and befriend, or battle.
· Worlds of Wonder: Hand-drawn art and rich storytelling combine to immerse players in fantastical worlds
· Duelists Welcome: Same-screen multiplayer allows players to enjoy PvP battles
With local competitive two-player and hours of turn-based combat, it might be one to keep an eye on if you’re in the market for a colourful, hex-based battler. It’ll launch on 7th March and cost $14.99 in the US.
Got enough space to squeeze in some more turn-based strategy or are you saving yourself for Fire Emblem: Three Houses? Let us know in the comments.

Maybe. I’m interested in people’s thoughts here first though.
It's basically a watered-down HOMM3 clone. Fun for the first couple of hours but gets really boring, really fast.
BTW, Heroes of Might And Magic III would be epic for Switch. It has already been ported to IOS, so I don't see a reason why they would ignore the Switch.
Seems a bit too basic for my taste and bland.
I really hate to just call something shovelware outright... but this definitely looks like a bargain bin title... Looks can obviously be deceiving but...
Give us HoMM games, Nintendo!!!
Had these on my phone. Basic stuff, not worth $14 or your time.
Looks terrible. an other flash made game. SNES games still beats these "new" style 2D graphics easily. It's not quality
it looks...boring!
Now I want Heroes of Might & Magic on Switch. Actually, I've wanted it ever since they announced Switch... Or maybe a new Clash of Heroes game. That would be just as awesome.
Even looks good for me but if they could get a Physical I would pick this up it not playing just for collecting such games.
This game's art style is misleading from the trailer's art style, and the gameplay is copy and paste from all three games and it's not the good kind.
Pass.
Coming out right after War groove was probably not the best timing.
@Late Clash of Heroes was one of the most original "match 3" games I've ever played. It was so good on the PS3 my wife bought it to play on her 3DS (I know it's a DS game). We were actually just talking about it yesterday saying we really need a new one. Not sure I'd triple dip on Switch after buying g the other 2 but a sequel would be awesome.
Seems too flash looking for me, I'll pass.
I have enjoyed playing these on my iPad. Unsure I plan to get them again though.
Sorry too basic for me.
It's like they didn't even try to make it look any manner of intense or exciting. It looks entirely too bland and basic, especially the "attack" animations if you can call them that. Everything looks like the stock definition of something with no manner of personality at all.
Pass.
@SwitchForce
Clash of Heroes would be great!
@Heavyarms55 2010 smartphone game looks
Looks remarkably uninspiring
Does this look like Heroes of Might&Magic?
Please bring the Heroes of Might&Magic series to the Switch, Ubisoft!
Please please please!
Looks absolutely rubbish.
