Upcoming hack-and-slash title Samurai Warriors 4 DX has received its first trailer, showing off some of the action you can expect to find in the game as well as a quick glimpse at some of the included DLC.
If you've missed the news on this one, this is a "complete edition" of the previously released Samurai Warriors 4, a game which was originally launched in celebration of the series' tenth anniversary. It includes a whopping 150 pieces of DLC, all of which were first released for the original title.
As teased in the video above, this DLC includes costumes, weapons, customisation parts, scenarios, background music, and more. The '15th Anniversary Box' edition is also shown towards the end; we have more details on that particular release (and some lovely screenshots) here if you're interested.
The game is set to hit Japan on 14th March 2019, although no western release has been confirmed as of yet.
Will you be importing a copy when it arrives in a couple of months' time? Tell us below.

can we please just don't?
Now this Warrior port is the one I've been waiting for.
Let's hope this will also get an eshop release.
For the physical release, I don't get the hype for postcards... I mean, you're not gonna send them, are you supposed to look at them every few months and say out loud "ha, this was a good object I bought, yes. Good."
Still haven't made it through all the content of the last entry, and can't wait for this.
150 pieces of DLC? ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY?
You know how to do DLC right? Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
You want to know how to do DLC wrong? This.
Even if each piece was 50 cents. That's 75 dollars of DLC and 150 transactions to make. I assume a lot of it was released in packs, and now it's getting a full release, but this is disgusting.
@Heavyarms55 Welcome to almost all of Koei's legacy. Spectacular games that they'll continually and constantly resell to you and make you pay for for years.
Mine day one as soon as it gets a western release.
I’m still working through Empires. However I am in a habit of buying the musou games I want for later on when I have free time/work through the backlog.
@Gauchorino I almost just puked from the thought...
LOL, I just got Fire Emblem Warriors and Warriors Orochi 4 recently, and I'm still going through Hyrule Warriors' Adventure Mode. Even if they released it in the west and I wanted it, it'd have to wait.
Great for those who haven't played the game yet, though.
I have yet to buy Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem.... So I'll pass. Looks fun, but HW is my next Koei game I'm getting
@neufel Yeah, it's digital only in the west, so that kind of confirms and eshop release.
If it gets a physical Western release then I'll get it day one.
Got Warriors Orochi 4 for the Switch on launch day and am 40 hours in and on stage 50 I think; literally just put it down about 15 minutes ago.
