Milestone has shared a brand new trailer for the upcoming Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 2, which arrives on Switch next month.
The video gives us our first look at the game's adrenaline-filled Championship, while also revealing that those who pre-order the title will gain access to a little dose of extra content. The video calls this the 'Infinity Customisation Pack', although the accompanying press release actually says that players will receive the 'Outfit Starting Pack' which includes "two official Thor full gears with Suit, Helmet, Goggles and Boots".
We first heard about this one arriving on Switch back in October, when various details were shared about the game's Career mode, customisation options, and its officially licensed racers, tracks, and more. Make sure to read up on those if you'd like to learn more. Before you go, though, check out these new screenshots we've gather for you below.
The game is still scheduled for release on 8th February 2019.
Will you be hitting the track next month? Let us know your thoughts on this one with a comment below.

I think the MAJOR question on everyone's lips is......Does it support Labo
Before anyone smashes me on this, it is a joke
You know it's best to tamper your expectations when the game's title is just painfully awkward to read.
"The Official Videogame 2." BLECHK.
@Not_Soos Best just to say Supercross 2
Was the first one any good? I’m itching for an ExciteBike64 remaster...
@Not_Soos I think you mean temper. But I agree.
Interested, but I’ll wait for reviews, especially since that’s surely not Switch gameplay in the trailer.
The first game was great, just not on Switch... So a trailer from the other versions mean nothing!
First one was bad. We'll see how this looks.
How about one of these games actually having good outdoor tracks to hoon around in? Something like MX x ATV, I loved that game.
The thing about the first Monster Energy Supercross is that it is not a bad game, it is just a really awful port on the Switch. I have the game on my Xbox One X and it truly is fantastic on that console, but I remember seeing people stream the Switch version and it just looked like a bad joke with it's obvious compromises and heavy reduction.
With this in mind I would say that the game really doesn't have anything to prove besides the quality of it's port. I honestly thought even MXGP3 was a better port than Monster Energy on the Switch, if they do a good job with Monster Energy 2 they could totally redeem themselves, but I will need to see those results before I can justify placing an order.
Not worth the $60 price tag!
@JayJ Personally, I liked last year's Monster Energy Supercross. Yes, the Switch version. Personally, I much prefer to play racing games single player rather than online (where I get destroyed because apparently, I'm a casual). It would have been nice to have the track editor that was in other versions. But I thought the actual game play was pretty good.
@TheFox I always prefer playing single player with most games as well. Online seems to be just for the highly competitive types and I usually play games just to have fun, I am not trying to prove that I am the world's best or how great I am at the game.
I am glad that you enjoyed it though. I also managed to enjoy MXGP3 on the Switch even though it wasn't nearly as good there as it is on other consoles, but the thing is that it is still a fun motocross game. I was really disappointed with the quality of the port they made for the Switch version of Monster Energy, but I am sure if you can get past how rough and ugly it can be at times there is a decent motocross game underneath, like I said it's a great game on different platforms so IMO it's all on how much you enjoy these types of games.
That said I just wish they could produce something better than their last effort, it was bad enough to where I couldn't justify buying it on the Switch.
I'll be diving in....on PC. I can't be playing serious racing games with no throttle control.
I thought the first one was a joke. Just how in your face can Monster be about product placement? What's next "Domino's Pizza Proudly Presents: Smirnoff the Drunk Racing official video game 1 Deluxe"?
Honestly though, now that I type that, a drunk driving racing game sounds like an awesome parody game. But I can just imagine the mainstream media freaking out again and deciding that drunk drivers are caused by video games too. (like everything else)
@Heavyarms55 That is actually just the name that AMA Supercross is going by these days.
