During the Wii U generation and when the 3DS was in its prime, the Humble Bundle ran a few promotions, allowing customers to buy a selection of titles on these platforms for a small sum. You could pay $1.00 to unlock the likes of Mighty Switch Force! and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, and if you wanted more, $10 gave you access to games such as SteamWorld Dig and Runbow.
While we hope to see the Humble Bundle one day return with another Nindie promo - perhaps for the Switch, in the meantime, the store side of the website is now selling digital codes for Switch and 3DS titles. Currently, this selection of games for Nintendo systems can only be purchased from the Humble Store if you live in the United States. The store is also allowing its customers to purchase a 3-month and 12-month membership for the Nintendo Switch Online service and it's worth noting this is the first time it's ever offered first-party Nintendo titles.
On the Switch front, you can pick up games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Party, ARMS, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and Mario Tennis Aces. You can even grab Splatoon 2 and its expansion pass. In terms of 3DS offerings, there's Pokémon Sun and Moon, the Ultra versions, the classic Game Boy versions and Ocarina of Time 3D. There's a stack of others as well - so if you live in the US, view the full selection of games over on the store.

I don't get it. I didn't get it during the Wii U era either. All I see is a web page with a bunch of Nintendo first party games offered at full price. Is this supposed to be some sort of bargain?
The web site doesn't explain it and neither does this article. And what does any of this have to do with being humble?

However, it's another way for people to purchase Switch/3DS games.
Also, Humble Monthly subscribers get a 10% discount off all games.
And Humble sent out a $5 off coupon to newsletter subscribers. So, the savings can add up if there's games there you want.

@Yoshinator yeah I had a blast with sonic mania through December's humble bundle of sonic games. Unfortunately this Nintendo stuff will never be in another bundle and sorry about US only.
Codes are also resold on gameflip which sometimes gives promos.

Couple years ago there was a decent Wii U / 3DS sale in the Humble store (https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/04/humble_friends_of_nintendo_bundle_offers_games_at_a_huge_discount), but sadly it happened only once. Maybe now it's time for Switch to get one?
Looks like they're currently selling for full price. Hopefully we'll eventually see them sold for the deep discounts that Humble is famous for.

@SuperWeird During the Wii U era it was a charity promotion. You paid what you wanted and designated how the money was divided up (Developers, Charity, Humble Store People). If you spent a certain amount of money it unlocked additional games. Developers sign on to raise money for charitable causes.
It happened twice during the Wii U era and I jumped on it both times. Great games at a discount plus helping charity.
As for now, I am not sure how the store model works as I don't use it.
@SuperWeird they could also bundle them in one for a price. which is why i like using humble bundle to buy a bundle of random steam games.

Please lord let them make a monthly humble bundle with nintendo games that would make me so happy. Imagine a monthly dose of indies for the switch for ~10 bucks.
@SuperWeird as other have mentioned, the humble part has to do with the fact that a percentage goes to a charitable cause. I agree the store page for the Nintendo games does not explain it well. I received the promo email from them about it and in there it says "Up to 10% of proceeds support your charity of choice." That is at least how the regular store works. There other bundles (Humble Bundles) that offer a "pay what you want" model, usually with tiered options that unlock more games. There wound up being two of these during the Wii U era that featured non-1st party Wii U and 3DS games (one bundle was bigger 3rd party, the other was indie focused).
Nice to see Nintendo on Humble Bundle again. Hopefully they do a couple sells over the course of the year similar to what the eShop did with Hyrule Warriors & Splatoon 2. I'd love to get the Switch port of DKC: Tropical Freeze but kind of hesitant to pay full price again for something I've already played back in the WiiU days.
This is great, I always use humble bundle for my PC games, so Switch is a welcome addition.
I took advantage of both bundles they did for the Wii U/3DS. They were AWESOME! We're still playing Runbow and Sportsball. Both are games that I may not have tried if it weren't for Humble Bundle presenting such a great deal.
I doubt I'll ever make a full price purchase of a Nintendo Switch game from Humble when I can do it directly on the Nintendo Switch in the eshop but I will definitely take advantage if they do another Indie bundle or offer good sales.
@Wanjia Really? Huh. Since they're selling at full eshop price, that means that unless they end up doing a bundle at some point, buying them from there instead of the eshop is COMPLETELY pointless.
@ChibiNinja They don't advertise well, but if you purchase through the humble store, 10% of the proceeds go to charity. So most people use it as a way to donate funds that would otherwise go to the platform (steam) to charity organizations instead. They've raised more than 142 million USD since 2010 for organizations such as the American Red Cross, Make a Wish Foundation, and War Child. The point is less about getting a deal, and more about redirecting funds from a same-price purchase to a cause, although they do get partner studios to offer gamekeys for their humble bundles from time to time, which you can pay what you want for and designate the percent of funds that go to developers and charities.

"Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes" isn't on the Humble Store, let alone available yet.
I'm not sure why I would spend the same amount on a 3rd party website to buy the exact same thing that I can get directly through Nintendo. If it's just to get a warm fuzzy feeling for giving to charity, you can do that directly to the charities instead of going through a 3rd party as well.
This seems pointless until they actually have bundle deals. I don't even buy off the actual eShop, too slow to find anything. I keep this link bookmarked so I can see everything on sale, much quicker, and just buy from there since my account is linked.
