The twin-stick, base-building shooter Sleep Tight is finally headed to Nintendo Switch in Europe and Australia this month, it has been confirmed.

This one sees players constructing elaborate pillow forts during the day, using them to defend kids’ bedrooms after dark from the things that go bump in the night. With an arsenal of toy weaponry that spans everything from dart guns to water balloons, you'll be fighting off the monsters until dawn to purchase new gear and upgrades to survive the nights to come. The whole thing looks like a magical, Pixar-like dream come true, as you can see in the trailer above.

And this makes sense, too, as the game has been developed by We Are Fuzzy, a team of Hollywood film artists and AAA veterans. The development team features VFX artist Maxx Burman (Far Cry, Titanfall 2, Game of Thrones, Sea of Thieves), Disney character artist Dylan Ekren (Big Hero 6, Wreck It Ralph, Zootopia), and Ubisoft designer Oscar Mar (Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Rainbow Six Siege). That's quite the lineup.

The game has actually been available in North America for a while now, releasing back in July last year, but there has been no release date confirmation for other territories until now. It'll be available for £11.54 when it arrives on the 24th January.
