PQube and Arc System Works have today released a brand new trailer for BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition. Pre-order bonuses have also been revealed for the physical edition of the game.
If you're not up to date on this one, BlazBlue: Central Fiction allows players to experience the final chapter of the BlazBlue saga with upwards of 40 hours of gameplay in its story mode, over 30 unique characters to play as, and more than 60 stages. The Switch version comes with all DLC and previous updates as standard, and you can see just a taste of this action in today's brand new trailer (above).
Those who wish to pre-order the physical edition (which is still sadly only coming to Europe - no North America release, we're afraid) will receive an exclusive set of six pin badges. The six badges feature some of the series' most iconic characters: Es, Hazama, Jin Kisaragi, Ragna the Bloodedge, Noel Vermillion and Makoto Nanaya.
It's worth noting that the offer only applies at participating retailers - which just so happen to be GAME UK, Micromania, World of Game Switzerland, Gameware Austria, and GAME SPAIN - although customers who purchase through RICE Digital will receive an "adorable" Chibi Ragna the Bloodege keyring instead.
The game itself is still scheduled to launch on 8th February in Europe (both digitally and physically) and the day before that on the 7th in North America (digitally only).
Are you looking forward to this one? Will you be pre-ordering the game to get your hands on these goodies? Tell us below.

How is this different from the NA release?
NA has BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
JPN has BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION Special Edition
EU has BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION Special Edition
I looked the JPN has acrylic stand and 4 keychains EU has 4 buttons. So I got like 3 different orders from different regions giving out different things. So are these the same two game?
Yes can't wait til this hit NA soon. I had play every entry from Calamity Trigger to Continuum Shift I & II, and Chrono Phantasma. Can't wait to finish this recent part of the BlazBlue storyline.
@SwitchForce JPN and EU sounds like the same game with different pre order bonuses. Cross Tag Battle is a different game though that features Blazblue characters along with other franchises and it released a while ago.
So looking forward to this game. Switch is becoming my little fighting game paradise.
But...but I already had purchase plans!
Seriously though I can wait. Cross Tag hasn't had enough playtime yet.
I still do have my order for the JPN and EU version but wished the JPN version had the button then I just get only one of them. Now I ended up with two of the same game with different extras. What a real drag this is.
SOLD!
Blazeblue reviewed quite well on other platforms so this should be interesting.
@SwitchForce This is different from the "NA release" as Central Fiction and Cross Tag Battle are entirely different games, hence the entirely different names.
PSA: The upcoming NA release of Metroid Prime 4 is also a different game than the JPN and EU release of Metroid Prime 2.
Love the character design in these games. I wish we'd get an RPG spin off. lol
Didn’t buy on PS4 due to the lack of English voice acting and then waited for a sale that never seemed to come. I guess I’ll go ahead and buy since it has all the DLC included.
Thanks to Amazon UK for allowing my American butt to order the physical copy!
this is so bs this should be coming tp NA as well wtf is going on with arc systems.
Good thing pins, to me, are some of the laziest pre-order bonuses that seem to consistently stick around...
@PrincessBowsette At least imports are an option this time around.
Count me in. I try to only buy the 'Special', 'Complete' or 'Legendary' editions of fighting games, with all DLC characters packed in, these days.
@SwitchForce
Cross Tag Battle and Centralfiction are two separate games. They are available in all regions.
I wonder if this game will have any DLC. I ALWAYS want physical copies, so I might spring the extra money to get a European import. But that's a problem if there's DLC. Half the roster in Cross Tab Battle was DLC.
@TheFox From up above.

@wyzworld76 Thanks. I was also worried about if everything would be 100% on the cartridge because I was thinking about if there were patches, would I be able to get them. But I just remembered that when I got an import copy of Taiko no Tatsujin, I did receive patches despite having a Japanese copy in North America.
