Nice, will probably get this and haven't played this one yet, already got Monster Boy ordered too. Had as many physical games as i can since when eventually the online service shuts down you won't be able to re-download digital purchases. Best for resale too.

The sexual undertones really stick out in these games too, at least they did a bit in Risky's Revenge anyways.

Will this work if i live in europe? Was a while since i played this one and the switch would be a nice reason to play it.

@Rockmirth Yeah it’ll work, the Switch is region free. I’ve got another imported Shantae game from the US and it works like any other game. The only difference is you probably won’t be able to redeem the Nintendo Rewards Points.

@Rockmirth yes, i order these to europe aswell. $15 pre paid import / custom costs up to 3 (normal version) games. $21 for a heavier package.

@BensonUii the €15 import cost is custom costs and everything included. Up to 3 games at once, or €21 for heavier package (like collectors editions or more then 3 games)

I still got my physical 3DS Version of Pirate's Curse, so i don't really need another Version on Switch.
Still my favorite Shantae Game anyway.

Absolutely love and adore this franchise and I sincerely hope we get more sequels in the near future. I love the gameplay, the humor and music immensely and of course I love Shantae and her quirky ensemble of allies and foes. Wayforward games never disappoints and I look forward to adding this physical set to my collection.

Oh ya, this is a keeper.

I typically don't like going physical for Switch games when I don't need to. I also typically don't like repurchasing games I already own.

On the other hand, I absolutely LOVE this game. Easily the best Shantae game, and one of the best platformers I've played this decade.

No thanks, Im still mad that those of us that purchased 1/2 genie hero had to purchase the ultimate edition AGAIN if you wanted everything the game had to offer instead of letting us do a simple upgrade like sonic mania did.

Those dreaded CE. Always have to hit the buy so fast when these pop up on opening day.

@Moonlessky your not the only one but then again you didn't have to buy it right. So stop complaining and get with the program. Some of use bought it too early and wanted the physical so we bought it Physical.

@BensonUii i believe so, they pre pay all those costs for that €15. LRG had a list with countrys that are eligible on the're website forums iirc.

@SwitchForce oh trust me I did not purchase the ultimate edition and I will whine about it whenever I remember that they mistreated their fans. I don't like wasting money. But please as long as it makes you happy feel free to keep buying whatever you want.

@Moonlessky you think you were the only one complaining to them about this. The rest of us learned hard knocks to consider it before deciding like Cat Quest - I was going to go eShop but then BB had it and so I bought it.

I got the normal version of half-genie hero when it was on sale. I might grab this one if I feel like it.

I’ll be ordering the special edition for sure. I have the day one edition of the half genie hero that I’ve yet to open and play. I’ll just have to add this one to the pile! 😁

@Gowtu_Games I juste saw that a new french french publisher juste came out it's called Warned Collectors check it if there is somethings interesting there's not a lot of game but i think they working with other indee developpers

@OldSchoolFrank thanks buddy didn't know of them yet. But after keeping a complete switch set for LRG and SRG next to regular switch releases i dont have enough budget for games to also collect a set for warned collectors. I might pickup a game here and there from them though.
