As Nintendo has already made it clear it has nothing to say about the drawings and "other things" uploaded to the internet, supporters of the fan-made creation Bowsette have taken matters into their own hands by adding the Bowser and Peach mashup into existing Mario releases.

One modder has gone as far as making Bowsette the final boss battle in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. As can be seen in the clip above, it essentially replaces Bowser with a convincing 3D model of the fan-made character. These types of mods are one of many creations inspired by the character, with fans also uploading comics and art and even creating their own amiibos based on the design.
