Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have shared a launch trailer for the upcoming LEGO DC Super-Villains, showing just some of the chaos players can expect to find in the game.
For the first time in a LEGO game, players will be given the opportunity to unleash their inner bad guy; LEGO DC Super-Villains gets rid of all the nice, decent people to create a world without superheroes - and things seem to be completely out of control. The game allows you to create your own fully customisable super-villain character complete with their own signature superpower - a feature which was actually shown off in another recent trailer.
In the game, the Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to a newcomer group of heroes from a parallel universe called the ‘Justice Syndicate’. However, legendary DC supervillains including The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Killer Frost and more, discover that the Justice Syndicate may not be as heroic as they claim to be. Led by your customisable character, this legendary team of wrongdoers must join forces to stop these fake heroes and save the world - but only so that they can rule it for themselves.
The game launches on Nintendo Switch on 16th October.

These games lost their charm after the 30th one.
Looks good. I still like most of the Lego games and this one will probably go into my wishlist. Furthermore, my nephew, who is a big fan of DC comics, will surely love this.
Ok, it has a lot of the original voice cast of Batman the Animated series, Superman and The Justice League (& Unlimited) and some of the WB shows !!!
I'm getting this for sure !!!
(Andrea Romano, I love you !!!)
YIKES
No offence, I will probably get this game, but I'll wait for a used copy, I just found out the Basic copy is $60, ($66 after tax) & $75 for the "deluxe" version, hey, I love Lego games, but NO Lego game, no matter what system or voice cast is worth more than $40
I thought that the previous Lego Batman games allowed you to play as both sides. Seems like they're just selling half a game at a premium.
@Velocirapstar
you usually have to unlock those characters though, but i have a feeling, Lego will keep up with their formula and you can unlock good guys(and gals) to replay beaten levels
@ReaderRagfish @Kalmaro
I've looked into this game, you may find it interesting, I'm stoked (not about the $60 price tag though)
@jhewitt3476 I'll keep my eye out for it but there no way I'm dropping full price for this.
I really wish there was a Lego Sonic The Hedgehog game. Lego Dimensions showed that a 2.5D Sonic platformer in the Lego style can actually be quite decent.
@AxeltheBuizel I would love that!I refused to buy dimensions despite REALLY wanting it because I couldn't afford or have room for all the toys but I loved what I saw of Sonic...and The Simpsons for that matter.They proved they can do it so why can't we get a full size game and just give all these superheroes a rest for a while.
Well I guess everyone in the comments section dislikes or is disinterested in this game except me. I love playing the LEGO games with my kids and this looks like another fun co-op experience. Will be picking this up on launch day and the LEGO Harry Potter collections couple weeks later.
Mark Hamill as the Joker sells it for me 😁
@lickcheez
Many of the voice cast of Batman, Superman, Justice League Unlimited are in the but it looks like John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn of the WB "Arrow") is also in it
@baller98 one can only hope, but i won't hold my breath
@lickcheez Mark Hamill is voicing the joker in this?!?
@SimplyCinnamon53
go onto imdb.com
then look him up, he's been the Joker for over 20years, plus he played a similar DC character, a nemesis of the Flash called "The Trixster", he player that character many times, in the live action 1991 show The Flash, in the newer show and in the animated 2005 Justice League, he was also Robin for a while in the 90's Batman animated series, he's been a professional voice actor for many years, but just for the hell of it, look up Batman the animated series, Superman (animated) and Justice League & JLU and look at the voice cast, you may be suprized just how many big celebrities do voice acting, the DC shows were the best because Andrea Romano was responsible for it
Mark Hamill is the second best Joker by a lot of people's standards, and considering how many live and animated Jokers there has been, that pretty damn good
My Switch, kids and body are ready for this game!
Not doing it for me. Love Mark Hamill and voice cast are great but Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 was fairly lackluster so I may just be over Lego games. Although I keep eyeing Harry Potter collection.
@zionich
I get "Your Switch and your kids are ready for this game..."
But "Your BODY Is Ready" ???
Uhhmmm.....
Well, I've heard of some interesting foreplay, but never heard of "Foregameplay"
@jhewitt3476 You just don't love your games enough =P
It's very tempting, but I'm leaning towards buying the Harry Potter collection, and I think that will cover us for Lego games. The price on this is a little high.
