Three, Yes Three Resident Evil Games Are Headed To Nintendo Switch In 2019

I’ve heard that RE4 is a great game. Now’s a chance for me to play it.

Just in time before Halloween arrives to announced this!

I am getting a bit sick of allthe old games why no good new games.

Finally.

All three are great games, with REmake in particular being one of the greatest survival horror games ever made.

Great to see the two Gamecube remasters finally hitting a Nintendo console again!

I know this will make a lot of people happy and it's good for the Switch's library but, Jesus, Capcom, can you bring something new to the platform?
After Doom and WF2 it is really hard to imagine that RE7 would not run on the console, it's just a shame that Capcom always uses the cheap side of things when dealing with Nintendo.

Interestingly, these were GameCube exclusives when first released.

I have no idea why capcom is in re release mode but im not complaining!!! (just give me all four onimusha games on the go)

Glorious! I don't know HOW many times I've played RE4! That has to be the best Resident evil game ever (imo of course) along with RE7. I have the upgraded PC version of RE4 as well. I will now be buying these all again on the Switch! Hot damn this is exciting news😏🤗 And Zero is the only one I haven't beaten.

While I wish Capcom would put more actual new games on Switch, it's awesome to have these classic games on the go. Not to mention that RE4 on Switch could be the definitive edition if it features the Wii version's motion controls as well as HD remastered graphics. Nice!

I really dislike 4, I think its just the part where you have to look after the woman, she just kept on getting in the way.
But the original (hopefully its the remake and not just a re-hash of the Gamecube version) is great.
Also I doubt it but hopefully Physical??? People are shouting it all over the tweet for physicals, but knowing Capcom i doubt it

Capcom is going all-out with the compilations and recollections... and... am I the only one perfectly fine with this? I mean, Street Fighter, Megaman, Megaman X, the Beat'em Up Bundle and now this? @BlueOcean makes me wonder if this is just a hint of the first of many GameCube games being ported to switch. One can only hope!

Really hate how Capcom releases next to nothing physically on Switch here in Europe.

@BlueOcean Oh yeah, definitely better than NES games but Nintendo actually brings new games to the Switch (as you would and should expect), however, Capcom, so far, brought only a new Mega Man game to the platform, everything else are ports of very old games.
I'm not saying they are not good but I would expect more from them.
They surely are going on the cheap route on the Switch platform.

RE4 is probably one of the best games of any generation, I remember getting it on release day for the GameCube and it just blew me away.....even my wife who rarely plays games loved it.

RE4 and Okami are going to be ported to every new console ever made for the rest of time. No point complaining about it, it's going to happen. We'll all be telling our grandkids to buy them some day.

Finally RE4 on Switch. One of the best games I've ever played, and one of few I'd call perfect (as a game can be). It deserves to be easily available to everyone.

But I need to know if it has any sort of motion aiming or HD rumble, which is the only thing that could get me to double dip.

Awesome! When RE Revelations was announced, the first thing I thought was "give me RE4 portable!" It's one of my most played games, and I'm stoked to have it on Switch!

Honestly, I'm fine with Capcom releasing ports on Switch. I would rather they do that then release subpar crap. At least we know that RE Remake and RE4 are stellar games!

Maybe they'll update Mercenaries on resi to multiplayer coop!

REmake is my fave of the series. 4 is fun and a game changer for the series and zero is a nice addition. 5 and... 6 shrugs would be cool to get as well.

I don't really care for the other two, but getting Breath of Fire 3 on Switch would make me so happy.

Also, I'd really wish Capcom would also release the original version of RE2 on any current console, as I don't like the direction the remake is taking.

Now, I'm a scaredy-cat, but for me, the village sequence at the start of the game redefined survival horror. Jumping through windows, barricading doors and the screaming like a small child who had dropped their ice cream on the floor (that was me not the game). Ye sold.

I just finished Resi 4 and it was honestly one of the greatest third-person shooters I've ever played. I would happily play it in handheld mode in a dark room.

I'll buy 4 again if they add the Wii motion controls to it.

RE4 saved Gamecube. It was the best action game that generation, revolutionary even... it changed all the action games since then. However, it didn't aged well, if you play it today it will be mediocre.

I'd rather Capcom bring more recent DMC to Switch.

Hoping for these all to be physical but with Capcom’s track record for Switch ports we can only dream...

Missed the boat on these in my youth. Just played through the Resident Evil HD Remaster last month. Hands down one of my favorite games of all time. RE4 for PS4 has been sitting on my shelf for a while now, looks like I'll be trading it in and holding out for next year's Switch release instead. RE0 wasn't very high on my priority list, but availability on Switch just bumped it up a few notches.

@GrailUK I've been pretty consistent on the need of having a mix of "new" and "old" from publishers. Expecting for that to happen by year 3 is neither those 2 things. Give us more old RE but also give something big and new like DMC or Viewtiful Joel.

Just balance it out. I'll support Vampyr on Switch before any of this.

Only played RE4 Wii version on Wii U and didn't enjoy using the wiimote and nunchuck, so I'll defenitely give it a go with normal controls on the Switch. It's a great game! Might try the others too

It's hard to be excited about anything from Capcom considering how P-poor their Switch physical track record is. As much as I don't want to support them, I keep importing their releases as they inexplicably refuse to release them here. What the hell were they thinking releasing the Xbox version of Mega Man 11 at retail here and not the Switch version?! Absolute morons.

Japan-exclusive or not, if they were to release all of these on cartridge, then I shall buy them all, especially the first game, which I played to death on the good old DS. If they are digital only, then I will skip them or do what I did with Revelations 2 and "buy" them with gold coins (and gold coins *only). They won't be seeing a cent from me otherwise.

It is not a great Resi game. The two others are though.

Resi games is defined by the survival-horror genre.
4-5-6 are action games. So it really depends what type of genre you want to play.

Sadly, "fan-favourite" means I've played every version of these games already. That doesn't mean that, at the right price, I'll p(l)ay them again.

You can get these for around $8 in the ps store now. Can't wait to pay $40 for a Switch version

@Silly_G The release of Revelations 2 on Switch is really frustrating indeed. I loved the first on 3DS, it's actually one of my most played games on it. Then, the second wasn't even available on a Nintendo system. When it finally became available on Switch, it was digital-only in Europe. The physical version of the "bundle" was with a download code and not even that was released in Europe, so it required an import, a big SD card, AND a huge download...

@Silly_G yeah capcom keep giving europe the short end recently with digital only titles for us, i would expect these to be digital only too.

I assume we are getting the HD remastered versions of 0,1 and 4. Well thats a turn up! I see no reason we shouldn't get the code veronica remaster too. If we could get that 2 remake they are doing to go along with them that would be perfect, but I do think if that happens it would end up being a cloud version which is a shame. @The_ghostmen I'm the opposite. I'd rather rebuy a game I know is great that I'll play again and again. So sick of buying a new game released with bugs, weekly patches, day 1 paid DLC, as well as in most cases, be a boring 'by the numbers' game that i either have to force myself to play through or stop playing after a few hours.

It'd make sense for Capcom to put the Revelations games on sale during this announcement, and the fact it's Halloween. Think I've only seen sales on these once in NA, and several times in EU.

I'm not personally a RE fan, but I also won't deny that the presence of this popular series will do the Switch a few favors.

RE4 is one of my all time favourite games, I've played through it 3,possibly 4 times now and will surely do so again once it comes to Switch. Being able to experience it in handheld mode for the first time is reason enough.

Im very happy with this news. Gonna buy all three, I particularly wanted to Re4, as that is still one of my favorite games ever.

Never finished 4. I just could not jive with the change in mechanics. But I never got around to 0 and REmake is probably one of my favorite games of all time. So 0 and REmake are probably definite buys at some point for me. Do wish we were getting the RE2 remake as well.

I think some will look back at the switch and it’s Con will be just this.. I love it, but just too much emphasis of gaming on the go, and not much emphasis on new software coming to the system. I’m loving dark souls remastered in the switch but it’s old, and looks exactly like the 360 version with worse audio, more than half a decade later and $40 lol

Not bad. I like the classic style re games, not so much re4. It's an action game and re5 does action better. But I'll probably get all three.

What happened to Code Veronica, though? It was released in HD for the x360/ps3, but never got released on pc and now will be missing from Switch.

Just a warning about REmake: they lost the original files for the prerendered backgrounds, so they just upscaled and filtered the low res GC original files. In some cases, they look like distorted to hell gif files since they tried sharpening filters. 0 doesn't have that problem and they actually provided high free backgrounds.

I’ve been a Nintendo fan since the snes, in my opinion 2018 has been the worst year for Nintendo as far as things to play since I’ve been a fan. What am I currently playing and loving? Dark souls remastered on my switch.. again.. and old port, that’s the theme with my switch.. what were the last games I played on my switch? South Park stick of truth(which came out like 3 weeks ago on switch) and tropical freeze and hollow knight..

@Quarth RE4 is one of the best games that I ever played. Of all the GameCube games that I ever had, RE4 is the one that I held on to the longest.

I've owned Splatoon 2 since day one and I just turned on the motion controls last week, so now I really hope RE4 supports motion aiming since aiming with sticks feels clunky to me now. I heard the Wii version had great motion aiming.

The same 3 games that were on the GameCube and Wii? While I'm glad they are re-releasing some good old digital only ports, it would had been nice to see a compilation of the more recent Resident Evil games like RE5, RE6, and RE7 that never appeared on Nintendo systems. Also bringing a port of the Resident Evil 2 HD remake would be nice too. All I'm asking is stopping giving us too many old titles that we already play to death gen after gen and start giving us some of the more recent entries.

I agree with comments above praising RE4 as one of the best games ever, but Capcom should replace jarring Latin voice clips with Spanish ones because the game takes place in Spain!

I don't understand why anyone, in a few years time, would look back at the Switch in a negative light just because it's a port machine. The GBA had plenty of ports/remakes and I've never heard of anyone who solely hates the GBA for being "a port machine".

@Spoony_Tech It's likely that Capcom will remake Code Veronica if RE2 is commercially successful. After all, Code Veronica is considered a gem by critics and fans.

@Pirlo_ze_sniper There is no chance that Switch will get Resident Evil 2 because it uses the same engine as Resident Evil 7. It will probably receive a cloud version in Japan but it will only be available on Xbox One, Windows and PS4 as a game.

I just think it lacks a personality I would never describe a hatred for the switch. It’s more of a con. Not much new software with it. While it’s good that Nintendo is making up for the lack of Wii U success with the switch, i believe that’s getting in the way of making the switch focus on new games for its system.

@tourjeff Well, I assume that the costs of downgrading and adapting RE7 to a much less powerful platform is something that they have thought about but they probably think that it's not worth it. The Wolfenstein II doesn't look quite right on Switch.

It doesn't surprise me that Capcom is porting older games to Switch because of this and also because it's happening with Nintendo's own games, and that does surprise me. I would expect Nintendo to produce more new games now that they have merged the two divisions.

@WaveBoy Exactly, RE7 runs like a charm on the other consoles at 60 fps but on Switch the resolution would had to be much lower, probably dynamic reaching 360 like The Wolfenstein II, with low-resolution textures, compressed audio and sub-30 fps so the CPU can handle the game... It wouldn't look nor play right on Switch.

@Toadie @WaveBoy Just wanted to say that I'm a fan of Zack & Wiki too. It was one of the games that made best use of the Wii Remote and the visual style was perfect for the Wii capabilities.

@BlueOcean from a gameplay perspective, I'd think RE7 is closer to Outlast. Wolf has fast action and multiple AIs running at a time, RE7 is a slower paced horror game, just like Outlast. It's also closer in graphical presentation too. With camera effects, etc. All of which actually hide the cut backs.

@Bunkerneath The GC version was the remake. Since then it's been updated some more on last and current gen consoles, with higher resolutions and updated controls.

@tourjeff RE7 would run on the Switch. Capcom are just being super lazy. They know the Switch is huge in Japan and Japan has much better infrastructure than the west, so they can get away with just streaming the game to the Japanese. Fast, dirty, and cheap.

If they wanted to release it on Switch in the west they'd have to actually get a company to port it to the console. That costs more money and more time. The Outlast games look and run great on the Switch though, so it would definitely be possible.

@mikegamer It's a stupid complaint and a valid complaint. This year has seen a lot of old stuff put on the Switch. Which is fine - good games are getting love one more time. However there is a point of saturation that's gonna happen with significant new stuff on the system. I mean, the BIG 3rd part game they are hyping so hard for Switch this holiday is getting a Special Switch Console variant...is kind of sad. Good game but, really?

@BlueOcean The Switch version of Revelations 2 is virtually identical to the PS4 version it was ported from graphics-wise (bar the outrageous loading times). It was originally a PS3 game, sure, but the graphics are great (constant 1080p as well), and the performance is pretty good, too - although you only get 60fps in small areas, and there is no fixed rate so it goes up and down, all things considered it's great. Unless Resident Evil 7 is significantly heavier, it should run relatively well on the Switch as long as the same wizards who ported Revelations 1 and 2 are doing the work.

@BlueOcean I'm talking about the atmosphere, and the presentation. I'm not suggesting the same quality could be ported down, only that the feel of the game could be kept. Something you said would most definitely be lost, and used a completely different style of game to justify.

@Quarth RE4 was probably one of my favourite Gamecube games. I didn't finish it, I got to a point where I got a bit reckless with my ammo and was stuck in a really tough place. But I absolutely loved it. As to whether I'll get a Switch version, I don't know, depends on the price really. Gyro aiming would greatly improve the experience I reckon.

@c2017nlifemedia @Richnj Yes, the Switch version of RER2 is pretty good. I am not trying to be negative about a possible RE7 Switch port but RER2 is also available on Vita (that version is bad I've heard) and last generation consoles that are more or less equivalent to Switch in graphical terms, perhaps Switch is a bit better in some areas.

The RER2 engine is MT Framework which is a great engine but designed for last generation consoles. If they wanted to run RE7 on Switch they would have to adapt the RE engine to a mobile and less powerful architecture or port the full game to another engine but that would be incredibly challenging.

One thing is certain, if Capcom makes the RE engine (the new one) work on Switch decently then nothing would stop them from porting also Resident Evil 2 (2019) to Switch. I loved RE7 but I think Resident Evil 2 will be even better because of the story and characters.

Much as I like those games I'm not buying them for the fourth times... By the way those games are good if you like survival horrors with puzzles. My advice is for you is that don't try to kill every single zombies except for RE4.

@BlueOcean I agree that RE1 sets the tone well if we’re talking about the survival horror genre, but in my opinion it hasn’t aged that well (now I’m talking about the original version). I bet a lot of people will disagree with me though.

@Quarth The PS version of RE1 is no longer scary but the remake still is the best survival horror game ever in my opinion. Current-generation remaster includes optional no-tank controls which is a nice bonus.

@Super_Gravy Good advice for newcomers, RE1 is not about killing all zombies. If you go like that you can't survive until the end. It's about killing strategies, planning routes, puzzles, etc.

I played 4 to death (no pun intended), but it's still a good game for those who are new to the series.

@BlueOcean Take a look at the video I linked, the graphics on PS4, Xbox One and Switch are much, much better than those on PS3 and Xbox 360. The Vita version was an awful port, then again the Vita was never all that powerful anyway (with battery life in mind anyway, otherwise it would have been able to pull off some impressive stuff).

@c2017nlifemedia Actually, they cut down on a lot of effects on the Switch version. There's pretty much no AA, the flashlight casts no shadows, model textures are lower quality, so foliage has really tiny draw distance with very visible pop in, etc. Still a good game, but then again it uses an old engine designed for last gen consoles, not the modern one RE7 uses.

Ah, I see Capcom. Port the Gamecube RE games to Switch. Will they get the REmake2 treatment at least? If anything, I never did beat RE0 and actually am a fan of Rebecca Chambers. All in all, I'll be happy for anyone who never played these (I can speak for REmake and RE4 at least, and what little I played of RE0).

No way I'd care enough to buy them on a "home console only" though if I already had a home console version. If you're not adding value via tribrid (or at the bare minimum, handheld) or motion (a genuine gamechanger for RE) then there really isn't much point. Unless you've never played the games, of course. Then there's always value, regardless.

Yeah there's that. The industry can't rely on you to single-handily keep them in the black forever.

Also, some TV's only have 2 HDMI ports, 1 for tv, one for gaming, so people keep buying the same games over and over to play on their newest console. I, for one, am looking forward to a Gamepass, EA Access future where all our games are rentals, only purchased if we want. 1 console to play them all. Though not streaming, don't like lag, I like to download what I play.

Aside from the fact I prefer physical (although I'm buying all the best games digitally now too- I prefer it digitally now, though I'm not willing to give up my physical collection in exchange for it, so I balance both for now) EA just doesn't have enough games I care about. Mass Effect and Dragon Age aside, but ME has fallen off and I'm willing to bet DA will too with the next release. All that online only DRM MTX ridden stuff like Anthem... not for me. Battlefield, not for me. Sports games, I did actually enjoy FIFA. But aside from one of those per gen and hockey, not for me (and even then they're pretty low on the list).

If it was a game pass with YS and Tales of Vesperia and Valkyria Chronicles and Dark Souls and Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy and TWEWY and DOOM and Wolfenstein and Mega Man and the like, sign me up.

Cool. Not a big fan of 4 and ive played the remake to death but never got around to playing 0 so excited for that one. Great collection nonetheless.

Good News just wish they were releasing before Halloween this year, and hopefully they will also release Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 on Switch also.

@c2017nlifemedia Yes, I watched it back in the day and you are right, the Switch version looks better than the last-generation versions and more similar to the current-generation versions. What I mean is that the engine is last-gen, and that is also true for the Xbox One and PS4 versions. There is no other Xbox One/PS4 version that looks similar on Switch if they made it specifically for Xbox One/PS4. As you say they improved the graphics of that game for the current generation.

The Vita version is awful, I think it's not the Vita hardware only but that that version was made by somebody else and they did a bad job. I just checked, Frima Studios made it.

Anyways, I'm sure that these three games will look great on Switch.

@Quarth Great! It is not just the new visuals but whole new areas, better puzzles, new sound, new enemies, lighting.. It's basically a brand-new game, a true remake - and PS games haven't aged well.

Only RE4, a game that i beat years ago! Would make me excited to play it and experience it once again. RE4 was truly ahead of its time.

Tried playing RE4 again yesterday and the controls are abysmal (talking about the GC version). It ruined the experience for me, and reminded me why I never really got into the game first time around either (and it's just one of the reasons why I've always considered Eternal Darkness a superior horror game, which, by the way, still holds up brilliantly even to this day, controls and all). Turning the character is like trying to turn a tank--sooo slow--and it just feels kinda clumky control-wise all round. I really hope they somehow tweak them for the Switch version.

my concern is crapcom would put half the game on cartridge while the other as download which crapcom has tendency to do with some of their games(cough)mega man and mega man x collection(cough).

@WaveBoy The Xbox One version of RE7 is 1080p. I have played the demo on both Xbox One and PS4 (PS4 has better anti-aliasing) and the final game on Xbox One X where it's even better (better than PS4 and Pro). The contrast is good too in the final Xbox version (in the demo is weird).

@PrincessBowsette I believe they won't be released as a collection. If I knew Capcom they will slowly port and release them one by one with a price tag similar to Okami. They will be digital only though, nothing old coming from Capcom is gonna get a physical release unless it's a new game like Mega Man 11 or Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. If you want physical you best import them since Japanese always gets them through physical release.

That’s funny. I wore a Resident Evil shirt today for the first time ever, then showed my daughter Res4 for Wii when she asked about it. Now it’s coming to Switch. I really liked that game but bought it for GameCube and Wii. Prob won’t be buying it again.

@gameboy1975 good luck on convincing capcom for that one took us awhile to get monster hunter back on nintendo console besides past systems.

Only RE I played is 2 on N64. I have one on GC that I got for free when I bought AC. Never played it. Are the controls still garbage?

Besides announcing all the Resident Evil games for Switch, the only thing that could’ve made this announcement better is replacing RE0 with RE2 (doesn’t even have to be the remake, just an HD remaster).

As is stands though, this is awesome. I played RE1 almost to completion on GC, and a bit of RE4 on Wii, and enjoyed both. Never played RE0. I’ll probably pick all three of these up at some point.

@PrincessBowsette Well they were all released digital only on the other systems as well so it's likely they will remain digital for Switch too just like the Okami HD remastered and the upcoming Onimusha HD remastered. The only way these will get a physical release for Switch is if Capcom make a physical collection that include two of them with the third one being digital only or if Limited Run wants to make limited copies of them.

RE4 is amazing. Best game of the GC generation (any platform) and legitimately one of the best games ever made.

Its going to be hard NOT buying this again - I don't think I have a working copy of this (GC gone, not sure where my Wii copy is, etc...).

C'mon Capcom - release all 3 in a pack for a decent price, and watch the sales soar

Im happy as all but please Capcom don't make them motion controls exclusive I hate motion controls it was cool during wii era but I prefer a traditional control scheme

im glad developers release digital games, beside that we have to be lucky, since nintendo cardridges are still (shamefull) only 32gb.
thats why fifa on switch got striped of the journey mode. ea cant expect that all consumers have big micro sd carts.

nintendo has to include big sd carts in bundles release for a great price.
i found it even ridicilious that there is not even a sd card included.
would be great for developers and users that it got 256gb storage out of the box

They could also release a collection of the original 1-3, RE3 is a fantastic horror game and to hear the original cheesy voice acting from PlayStation RE1 would be great.

I bet it doesn’t take that much (if any) time away from new projects and I’m pretty sure there are a lot of people, both newcomers and those who’ve already played these games, being excited that these games are coming to Switch.

@Quarth For its day it was phenomenal. It was the Super Mario Galaxy of 3rd person shooters. It would take a single idea in a level and utilise it in in so many different ways to stay consistantly varied throughout its 25hr campaign time. It also influenced so many games of the following generation such as Gears of War. The Gamecube version had the best console graphics of that generation of consoles also, it was so impressive people thought it was a next gen game. Capcom were, during thst era, the best 3rd party games developer. It has aged a bit but it is the most varied and most influential 3rd persion shooter ever made.

@CupidStunt I remember watching my brother playing it on the GC back then, he had borrowed it from a friend and yeah, it looked incredibly good the little I saw from it. But never got around playing it myself, was heavily into GBA at the time. So now’s my chance to enjoy it. Loved your description of it! Thanks!

Will these make up for the lack of the RE2 Remake coming to Switch?........no. Capcom aren't even being subtle anymore about their lack of interest in bringing new games to the Switch. If there are people that haven't played these then i guess they're worth it. I doubt they'll be priced fairly though when compared to other HD versions out there. The Switch is quickly becoming an afterthought for the majority of third parties now,a cash cow for them with old ports as their only interest for the platform IMO

Having bought these game twice already I may give them a miss.
I do love RE4 and REmake though. Maybe would buy on sale to have portable versions.

They need to fix some glitches in Revelations 2... my amiibo no longer work, and neither does the BP money transfer. Raid mode was my jam. While these are all great games, not sure how driven I am to revisit them on a new console. I barely played the Wii version because of how much I played it to death on PS2. Just concerned I’ll buy them and they’ll collect dust.

As much as I love this. Especially RE4; that should have came out earlier. Good ol Capcom looking for more profits and looking at switch players who will pay for it because it's "new." I'll buy I just hate sloppy seconds.

I've lost count how many times I've bought these games and I wont be doing so again. That being said 2 of these are excellent with remake in particular such a great game

I heard that RE4 was the best one, and the Wii version was the definitive way to play for its motion controls. I hope the motion controls are carried over to the Switch version! I plan to make it my entry point to the series next Halloween season!

I'm happy with this. People who complain about ports and remasters just don't seem to understand this gaming generation.

I'd rather have a remaster I can play portably then one blown up and bloated to 4K. It at least makes it worthwhile to buy again. I never understand the Ps4 getting Ps3 games and didn't buy them again. A slight bump in graphics and performance isn't enough to make me spend money again.

What about the 3DS, they have the capabilities to release it on there too. Plus I would love to play all five Resident Evil games on mine. Revelations, RE1, RE0, RE4, Mercenaries. Please Capcom. A Resident Evil 3DS theme would be nice too!

I didn't mean exactly EA Access, I meant just renting games in general. I've been a renter for probably going on 20 years now - Blockbuster Video, Gamefly, Redbox, trading in games I purchased. Sure I still have a bunch, a dozen or so each of PS, PS2, PS3, Gamecube, Dreamcast, twice that on Wii U, half that on Switch and PS4, But mostly I just buy games for my kids now.

So I'm like you, I prefer physical, but I also prefer digital. But really, there's no point in me buying stuff anymore. Up until 50 I was all about having stuff, but something clicked after 51, now it's all like - do I really want my kids to have to get rid of this after I'm gone, or sell it when I move into the old age home? There's only so much room in a casket I'll be burned in for stuff.

So while I prefer physical - God of War and Ni No Kuni 2 were $48 each on Amazon with Prime, and I traded each in for about $20 when I was done, can't do that digitally at release - it's a physical rental, not to keep. Same for DQXI once I finish it. I prefer digital when it's under $5 or on PS+. Though to be fair I did keep the GoW box, that was kinda cool looking.

So bring on PS+ Now for $15 a month with all Day 1 releases. Though at that price Id' probably still nto get it and take the opportunity to catch up with my backlog, I really want to play The Wticher 3 Complete and Skyrim, those will take me 150 hours each.

Very happy to hear this announcement; will definitely pick up all three for my collection. Now if we could get parts 2, 3 and Code: Veronica my collection will be complete and my OCD would be finally be at ease. (I have a mild obsession with keeping things in chronological and alphabetical order...)

Also- wouldn’t it be marvelous if Capcom were to be charmed enough to release Killer 7, No More Heroes and Viewtiful Joe to the Switch as well? I would be absolutely thrilled to play those again.
