All joking aside, hope anyone that makes it enjoys the event & posts the swag they receive. Kind of hoping something is announced for us Brits. We are a smaller country after all... still time to leave & make it all the way across by November?

It's a no-go for me. The closest city this will be to me is a four hour drive away, plus that's the same weekend that I'll be heading to a work conference....

I really wish this stuff would hit more cities.

Meh, these sorts of events never really interest me. I'd rather wait until I can play the game myself and just read about it online until then.

I’m ready for this to release already so I can quit reading about this junk and start reading about the 2019 game. I really hope they don’t disappoint with the next game but I’m really keeping expectations low. Like, as low as they can possibly go.

Again, pretty cool, but not gonna make me want to buy the game.

It's a little weird that they're not starting in New York next weekend for NYCC.

I wish that Nintendo Switch game freak Pokémon Let go Pikachu and Let go Eevee come to Providence, Rhode Island before Pokémon Let Go Pikachu and Let Go Eevee come out. In the further, Nintendo and Game Freak for Pokémon should come to Providence, Rhode Island in the further.

A demo on the eshop would be helpful. Might sell a few more people on the game.

Once again, nothing for Canadians. And even if Nintendo of Canada actually did get off their butts and did something (which they won't because really they're just a closet in Richmond, BC for tax-purposes...Canada is still under the purview of Nintendo of America), it would still just be something in the Toronto area. Meanwhile we're the second largest country, geographically, in the world and not all of us live near Toronto.

@peanutbuttercup Given that the movie rental store has gone the way of the Dodo, I think all developers should be forced to make demos of every major game released. I can understand that indie games might not have the resources to do this, but all AAA games (and for Nintendo, all first-party games) should get demos because this is the only way to "rent" games now. I miss the ability of being able to rent a game, figure out if I do want it, and then buy it. I think given that we have to sign up for Nintendo Switch Online to play online games now, part of that subscription fee should include the ability to download demos of all first party and AAA titles on the system.

I live near Chicago, so I'm definitely going to try and check it out!
