As the next part of its Prescription for Sleep: Game Music Lullabies series, Scarlet Moon Records has revealed 'Prescription for Sleep: Celeste' - an album of lullaby-style renditions based on the game's soundtrack. To celebrate, we're happy to exclusively share a preview of one of the album's tracks, 'Madeline and Theo'.
The album has been co-produced by Celeste composer Lena Raine, featuring a stellar lineup of composers from the gaming world in support. Violinist Maiko has joined GENTLE LOVE - a duo comprised of Metal Gear Solid/Bayonetta series composer Norihiko Hibino on saxophone and Etrian Odyssey/Persona Q pianist AYAKI, performing music from the game in a "jazzy lullaby style" to let you relax and drift off to sleep.
Without further ado, let's share the exclusive look at 'Madeline and Theo'. Check out this preview video below.
The album is available to pre-order right now from Bandcamp as a digital release, and you can also find a limited edition physical CD including foil print, comics, and stickers from the very same store page. If you want to learn more about this series of albums - which features works dedicated to Secret of Mana and Undertale, a compilation of battle themes turned into lullabies, and even a charity EP in honour of late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata - you can find more information on the official website.
Before you go, though, make sure to let us know what you think of the track preview, and whether or not you might treat yourself to a copy of the album in the comments below.

I already pre-ordered this physically. I'm very excited for this one!
Id buy this and pay a million dam dollars for it and never listen to the thing.
Not really into it personally, would rather just listen to the actual Celeste soundtrack. But that's pretty neat for those that like this type of thing and the physical copy looks sweet.
I'm genuinely ashamed to say I've still not bought/played Celeste. Is it really tight I'm waiting in hope for it appearing in an upcoming sale?
After listening for 20 seconds I did not hesitate another second to pre-order this
Can't wait
Nice. I love the Celeste soundtrack and so does my daughter, so it gets a lot of play. This might have to get purchased.
"Challenging Pixel Art" games are really hit or miss with me , but people really, really love Celeste with it's scaleable difficulty, so it's been on my backlog forever. I got burned once for buying an eShop game I thought would NEVER be on sale and it finally did only a week after I caved and bought it-- A sale for this game HAS to be coming sooner or later, and I will wait...
So I guess I'm not the only one who rocks himself to sleep with videogame music.
@Pazuzu666 I think Celeste is a genuine masterpiece that will likely still be talked about in decades to come. It's quite a challenge though. I beat it and even beat a few b-sides (and I think I remember there are c-sides). I'm not the most skilled player and beating the game felt like quite an accomplishment for me - I'm happy with just completing the game, but completionists will have a serious challenge ahead.
Thank you NintendoLife for posting this for our community. This is my FAVORITE Nintendo site on the web because of the way you support our community! I love this album and just discovered a new artist to follow (Scarlett Moon = videogame lullabies).
Celeste is an utter masterpiece of platforming, due in no small part to the excellent music. These arrangements seem beautiful, and the little comics look sweet too. Definitely on my radar.

@BMO_Advanced
I used Dear To The Heart for three nights in a row.
It's that effective, and it's going to be played by Nintendo speakers next year!
The game itself is a sleep inducer.
Didn't like the game, but the music is great, reminds me of neo-classical Rick Wakeman works.
Still need to but this game haha
I have an earlier Prescription for Sleep album, and I like it a lot. I’ll definitely keep tabs on this Celeste-based album.
Thanks for sharing this. I like the music and am considering buying the CD. Also, thanks to the commenter for sharing the lovely FF 7 music.
Beautiful and glad they’re taking on this game next. That’s an impressive lineup of performers too. I hope it comes on Spotify as well
@Pazuzu666 game of the year 2018! Story is really good, soundtrack lovely, platforming top-notch and hard as nails but you get back to the start of the screen in a second.
