Oh sweet, I was excited about the Monster Hunter demo, but I'll check out the Monopoly and Morphite demos too! No new games for me, though. I have enough right now (meaning, mainly, that I can't stop playing Picross), plus I have Okami and Captain Toad coming from play-asia.
Really curious about Next Up Hero or whatever. Bought Metal Slug last week. Mainly enjoying a spending break, and the MH demo.
Some weeks are packed and have a good one in there.... some weeks are a pile of poo. This week is like unto description two.
What’s up with these recent Neo Geo updates? Metal Slug 4 was last week wasn’t it?
Slow week, and a good thing too since I'm still playing Octopath... I suspect that will slow down once MHGU comes, but for now it's the only thing holding my attention.
Might get Metal Slug 4 later down the line. Even if one of worst in series. Thought RBFF 2 was latest this week to arrive? I guess will be coming out next week?
Keep Talking is high on my list. A good crop of Neo Geo games, the Monster Hunter Demo, and some games I'm eager to get in the Great Deals section makes this a killer week for me.
Kind of relieved to see a slow week - I have too much on my slate already. I'm scared to even look at the sales...
I'll definitely grab the arcade games. I'll take a look at some reviews on others but, like everyone else, I have so much to play already.
Nothing, but oh well. I have way too much to play on PS4 beginning in Sept, so Octopath will last me until then
Monster Hunter demo, Morphite demo and Monopoly demo for me.
These are weird times when 20 games for Nintendo's flagship system come out the same week, and people can comfortable vote that none of them are on the menu, seeing as 20 games came out last week as well, and 20 more will arrive the following week.
Load of crap once again. Switc news and releases seem a bit dry at the moment. Sure diablo and doom eternal have been announced or leeked but what else is there beteeen now and when pokemon lets go releases.?
I'm very curious how a demo for Monopoly would work. Does the demo end when the first person passes go? I'm a huge fan of demos, but I feel like in Monopoly's case a trailer might be better.
Fruity Racing is likely to be on sale for $20 in October and $10 Black Friday. They should have released that closer to the holiday when parents are buying their kids gifts or late spring for the kids to play over the summer. We're all in "back-to-school" mode in the US now. We'll most of the US, we got a couple of weeks left and 2 Labo kits left to build.
I can finally uninstall that Japanese Monster Hunter demo I have and get the one with English text! Rawrrrr~
If it wasn’t for Shenmue next week, I’d be all over Detective Gallo and Manual Samuel.
Castlestorm says "enhanced with new features for the Switch" but yesterday's well written review makes no mention of those, just that it's difficult to control. And the comments make it seem like it works better on iOS with touch controls. I remember playing the demo years ago, maybe on PS3, and always wanted it but never got it. I'll wait to see if they patch in any improvements.
just got Furi and Necrodancer on the sale, so now I have like 20 unplayed games plus the 10 i'm trying to beat. halp me
Castlestorm, MHGU demo, & Animated Jigsaws demo (been curious about that one for a while now) for me. Already have Monopoly & Morphite (downloaded those when they released).
The NA ACA game description delay is driving me nuts!
@garydbz25
Valkyria Chronicles 4
Mega Man 11
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Dark Souls Remastered
Super Mario Party
Just to name a few. There’s no reason to complain at this point.
Nothing for me from this selection, but I'm thinking of getting Okami and Bloodstained Curse of the Moon. I also may try that Morphite demo.
A bunch of garbage this week. Playing dead cells and waiting for the hollow knight expansion
Just the Monster Hunter demo for my family
I'll get both CastleStorm and Walking Dead eventually, but those are both wait for sale games for me. Another week of clearing of clearing out the backlog.
How have I never heard of Nitroball before? I just watched a YouTube video and oh my... guns, pinball, prizes?!?! I will be buying this tonight when I get home and cannot wait to explore.
I was just about to say "NOTHING!", and that's a good thing for my backlog!
Then along came Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate demo, so... downloading lol
@garydbz25 The Messenger, Dragon Ball Fighterz, Yomawari collection, Monster Hunter Ultimate, The World Ends With You, Dark Souls Remastered, Mega Man 11, Starlink, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Mario Party.
Those are just some off the top of my head.
The release schedule for the next few months is packed.
As a Nintendo fan, I feel like a lot of Nintendo fans are extremely optimistic, and try to look at the bright side of things even when they get piss poor stuff compared to other game system loyalists. (Sony,Microsoft) That’s just my opinion.
For example a week like this for ps4 or xbox only owners, they’d take one look at the list and be like what is that? Whereas a lot of Nintendo fans will be like man that’s some great games right there!
I will probably download the MHGen ultimate demo. I've been playing the 3ds MHGen for a while now after logging in a ridiculous amount of hours on MH3U. I dont know if there is a good reason for me to update to the switch version if it's basically the same game with G rank quests.
@Mgene15 just because I'm sick and tired of reading your usual bollocks, here, I'll help you out. This is this week's update for the PlayStation store:https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2018/08/13/this-weeks-playstation-store-highlights-the-walking-dead-warface-deaths-gambit/
Scroll all the way down to see all the releases. You'll see that three of the games are the same as in the list on this website, while the others are different. Now of if you weren't a troll you'd realize that actually no one that has an XBOX or a PlayStation complaints about these lists. I know because I own other consoles and so do most of my friends. I'd recommend getting out, it might help you clear your head.
Morphite demo download link pops up this screen: https://www.nintendo.com/popup/howto/eshopdemo/Bk8h_51qwosJEW0UMszks0dv_DQ2xQ7S
Can someone please call the dev in charge of deployments?
Thanks.
Forgot to list Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 in there.
@gortsi
Those systems have triple A titles, big
Boy releases. Nintendo has just the small stuff for the entire year up to this point. If you don’t like the truth, then Ignore me
@Mgene15 nothing truthful about what you said. Also: "big boy releases"? How old are you? 12?
I just can't believe how awful the games are every week coming out for Switch. Ugh. I'm glad that's not my only system or entertainment.
@gortsi
Nintendo has had Kirby,a 6 month late South Park port, a 3-4 year old donkey Kong port,3-4 year old captain toad port, octopath traveler,a 8 month late Wolfenstein port ,a year late crash bandicoot port and a crap ton of indies (90% of them being shovel-ware.
Sony has had : big boy releases such as monster hunter world, mlb the show, Madden 19,we happy few,God of War,Detroit become human, far cry 5 etc...along with all the crap shovelware that switch gets.
And yes kiyata (the person posting above me) I agree 100% with you. This moron arguing with me is drinking the kool-aid. Again, I’m a Nintendo fan, I just call it like it is
Any idea if the other seasons of the walking dead will release on switch?
@Mgene15 correction: you're an immature troll who will look back at these comments one day and realise that his adolescence sucked. Call it like it is, lollll
Worst week in a while, it seems easier to count the bad weeks than it does to count the good ones.
The Walking Dead game is far from garbage, there are a few other decent titles on the list this week as well as a few solid demos.
Nothing for me in a while now. The last game I bought from Nintendo was Crossing Souls. Waiting for Little Dragon Cafe.
Having fun playing Feel the snow and Beholder on Steam at the moment.
Why is FTE Games not releasing games in Europe anymore?
Give us the previous Walk Dead seasons and I will buy them all. Yes, again. But otherwise I will buy the final season on PC eventually.
Nothing worth downloading, but then again I've maxed my 64 gb card out. I don't really want any more Switch games until Mega Man 11 & Namco Museum come out anyway.
I guess I’m the only one interested in the Artifex Mundi hidden object games. Although they are probably cheaper on iOS.
Wheres picross
What’s the point of getting the last TWD if the previous entries are not on Switch
@shonenjump86 Nintendo Life enjoys reposting some of last week's releases because they have no idea what they're doing and are clearly in a rush to get articles posted before they're proofread or fact-checked.
Seriously, this has been happening ever since Thomas Whitehead left. This site needs him back.
@Captain_Gonru Thanks!!! Will be checking it out!
