It seems like every time a new game is announced, with it follows the inevitable question asking if it will come to the Nintendo Switch. This is exactly how the KillHouse Games' title Door Kickers: Action Squad has been confirmed for the system.

Replying to a fan question on its Facebook page, KillHouse Games revealed the title was Switch-bound:

Will certainly make it to the switch.

As for the game's current state, right now it's in early access on Steam. Below is a description:

Door Kickers: Action Squad is an old school side scroller action game that puts you in the role of a SWAT trooper and sends you to deal with bad guys in various locales of Nowhere City USA.

Chose your gear wisely then kick the doors down and face the outlaws. Master weapons recoil and time your reloads, use distance and cover to your advantage and, most importantly, know your enemy and deal with him accordingly.

And when it gets too hard, bring over a friend to help.

There's also online cooperative multiplayer, 4 playable characters, non-linear levels, more than 20 weapons, 12 enemy types and two game objectives.

The original Door Kickers game was a completely different genre compared to KillHouse Games' latest title. It took on the form of a real-time strategy and was first released in 2014.

Keep an eye out for a more formal Switch announcement in the near future, and in the meantime take a look at the trailer above and tell us in the comments if this would interest you.
