Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Breath of the Wild all a year or so old and still in the top 10. Pretty good.

Well deserved too,great game! I can't get enough of the online tournaments.

I'd hope this domination in Japan will spur some Japanese dev for the platform. So far it's been tepid at best. When Square arrive with a original AAA exclusive for the platform, then things will get interesting.

@SenseiDje What you mean by is Sony giving up? Japan are a massive handheld and mobile gaming nation so something like the Switch was always going to do incredibly well over there.

Have they fixed the no-tennis matches and included real sets like older Mario Tennis games?

Great game, but the online really needs to get some variety in there....get the creative maps going rather than just one. There's so many great maps and all you see online is one over and over.

I feel kind of bad not having played this since launch weekend. Opening Xenoblade 2 finally has put Aces way on the back burner.

Bought Mario Tennis. Have since traded it straight swap for Wolfenstein II. It just wasnt for me.

Nice to see the game selling well. Update to the change in the rating system made it a lot easier to find more even play matches.

@moroboshi Based on NIS's comments it sounds like there is already a groundswell of Japanese titles on the way. That and Namco Bandai has already told their shareholders they regret the lack of early titles for the platform.

My guess is prepare your wallet for some good old Japanese gaming fun in the near future.

Not really a high bar to cross, Ultra Smash was a rushed half-game to begin with, at the end of the Wii U's life. It is nice to see that Aces, a game with more effort put in, has been more of a success at least.

@OorWullie goodness, yes! I try to squeeze in at least one online game each day. Sometimes you can get a very good pairing and draw it out, too.
Also, my friend and I played Swing mode with Big Ball yesterday and it was a blast!

@BlueOcean He managed to hijack nearly every single comment section. People weren't even commenting on the article itself anymore, but it was all about him. That classifies as ''baiting'' I guess. And we got a big number of reports about him every single day. He has received several warnings, and he got a temporary ban before, but when he started obnoxiously correcting spelling mistakes (no reason for NLife to not double check the articles they upload by the way!) on every single article, it got a bit too much.

Huh, I was wondering why things around here were just a little more peaceful, not seeing him jockey for first comment by just putting in "wow" and then editing it into something inflammatory. Hearting his own comments to make it look like someone believed in him.

But on topic, yes good to see Mario Tennis on top. Thinking about getting that today. No surprise to see it double Ultra Smash since that was a mistake in every sense of the word.

Some long legged Switch titles there; also expect New Gundam Breaker to drop as reports are it wasn’t well received.

It's a great game, and the problems with the length can easily be handled with repeated matches (since it keeps track of how many times you have beat another player or CPU).

That said it would be nice to get 6 game match's

Switch has, once again, 8 out of the top 10 spots. Impressive.
