Just a few short days ago, FIFA 19 was officially announced for Nintendo Switch during EA's E3 conference. The game's producer Andrei Lazarescu recently said that this latest edition will feature improved graphics, and you can get your first glimpse of the game's visuals running on Switch in Handheld mode above thanks to the folks at Nintendo World Report TV.
FIFA 19 is set to be a more impressive port all around this time, with EA's recent acquisition of the Champions League license making it over to the portable version, as well as the ability to play online with friends as you can in other console versions - a feature lacking from FIFA 18 which was heavily criticised by fans.

The colours look really washed out hope that’s the video itself and not the game it seems to run well though and if you want a decent football game on the switch this is the only choice
I would like to have a fun NHL game like Mario Strikers just with hockey without a complicated button layout. Pass, shoot and a tackle button would be enough.

I haven't broken down and gotten Fifa 18 yet...even with all the half off sales...but I've seriously been considering it. Would it still be worth it to get the last one for now, or does this look to be such an improvement that I should just wait till September and get this version?

EA should update last year's so you can play your friends, they won't, but they should..
@Gs69 Of course it looks washed out is a capture in handheld mode which means is capture with a videocamera not direct feed

Anyway, visually this looks good to me. It is on a portable device after all. If this can run on Switch I don't see why Madden can't.

But in the end it is advertising for an other console on either Switch, Xbox or Pc... And that is no doubt a no go.

I'll be picking this up for sure. Enjoyed Fifa 18 but really missed the ability to play remotely with friends.

As long as I am forced to play with 48 Buttons and 2 Billion neccessary commands I am out. I wanted this to be a spontaneous game when friends come over, instead I got the home cinema version of "build your own nuclear power plant"

Looks good. Just get online play right. Play with Fam when away for work would be amazing.
@SteveF Theres no rookie or easy mode? That's why I love 2Ks basketball games. I dont have to worry about a bunch of stuff. You can make it very arcade like, while still having the sim stuff.

seriously, i don't see much differences with FIFA 18
the only thing is that we will be able to play online with friends, but they could simply add it to FIFA 18 without charging us another $60-70
