Octolings are set to arrive in Splatoon 2 as part of the incoming - and hotly anticipated - Octo Expansion, and it looks like the newcomers are going to be getting some rad new haircuts to help them stand out from the ink-stained crowd. The fresh cuts were revealed via a series of promo images on the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account, which showcased a rather fetching fro.
We're not sure if Nintendo was going for a Bob Ross feel for this one, but we're more than happy to beat the devil out of anyone who thinks it they can beat us in a round of Turf War or two...

I want a new ranked mode that lets you put Inklings vs Octolings, as in the days of old, back when Cuttlefish was young.
Still wishing they'd just remove the gender lock on hair cuts. As a long haired guy it kinda sucks to pick from super short absurdly cartoony cuts. Not sure why they think everyone's gonna want to look like Fuyuhiko from Danganronpa.
