2K has announced that Carnival Games is on its way to Nintendo Switch, bringing the Wii hit back to Nintendo's newest platform.

Built from the ground up for Nintendo Switch, this latest entry in the series can be played alone or with up to four players simultaneously, with each player taking hold of their own Joy-Con controller. The game features 20 re-imagined games that can be played at home or on the go.

Aiming to play like a real-life carnival, the game allows players to try out classic games like ring toss and alley ball horse racing, as well as brand new attractions like drone racing and cosmic bowling. Four uniquely themed alleys – Jungle Lane, Saturn Station, Vulture Gulch and Nuts & Bolts – are said to provide a different look and feel for the games within them.

The franchise was incredibly popular on the Wii, generating over 9.5 million sales across the series, so it's no surprise to see it make a grand return on Switch. Carnival Games will be available worldwide on 6th November this year with a suggested retail price of $39.99.
