If you're still playing through Super Mario Odyssey, then there's a good chance you're still stopping to grab a perfect photo opportunity in the easy-to-access Snapshot mode. When you do capture that memorable moment, you can apply a snazzy filter for added snazziness. And it looks like Nintendo might be adding in a few more in an upcoming free update.
One Twitter user posted an image showing three new filters from Super Mario Odyssey. Are these official new effects Ninty is planning to add at a later date, or are they just a fan-made creation that simply suits the kind of subtle addition you'd expect for a game such as SMO?
Let us know your thoughts below. Are you still playing SMO? Are some new snapshot filters a welcome extra? We want to hear from you...

Have never used the snapshot function. And never will to be fair
I saw new costumes too..the zombie Mario really upset me. I hope they dont release that one. Poor Mario
Who cares... And the costumes are meh aswell
I only played 18 hours-ish on SMO but I'm tempted to jump back in for more. Damn you for taking up all my gaming time, Splatoon 2!
I would believe this. Snapshot mode is a lot of fun with how beautiful the game naturally is. So every picture just looks stunning no matter what it's of. And I just love that even a small feature like this is getting more updates. Shows just how big of an impact on the game smaller details can have.
I can imagine I would have dumped hundreds of hours into this game had it come out when I was a kid. I still quite like it, but it hasn't locked in my attention the way games did when I was a kid. These days I prefer to dump my time into RPGs and JRPGs and other games with solid story components.
I truly enjoyed this game, however, the screen capture is not a feature that will keep me coming back for more, nor was Luigi’s Balloon World (or whatever it was called).
I demand that all Nintendo game includes a photo mode, it's such a fun way to store memories from your play-through. I got at least a hundred images, probably more.
Mario certainly is getting decorative out of his Usual Plumber attire, with the addition of some extras. They should even have use in future games like Alternate Costumes for Mario in the Smash Bros. Franchise. But to see him wearing the outfits of the other Plumbers, I don’t think they’d be pleased very much, Mario could even be mistaken for his brother.
Would you still recommend this game? Haven’t get yet. Love this genre and looks for sure!
Photo mode for the next Kirby game please.
@Francema I'd recommend it to ANY fan of 3D adventure/platformers. That's probably my favorite genre of gaming and loved this game immensely.
