It was way back in 2017 that we learned Contingent99's successfully crowdfunded roguelike Wizard of Legend was coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop (with a little help from Humble Bundle), and now we finally know when it's arriving - 15th May, to be precise.
"We're excited to announce that Wizard of Legend will be available across all platforms on May 15, 2018!" commented Contingent99 on the game's official Kickstarter page. "It's been quite a journey and we can't thank everyone enough for helping us make this a reality. We couldn't have done this without your support!"
Will you be picking up Wizard of Legend when it drops next month? More pixel-happy roguelike adventures? Count us in...

I'm happy for them, but I'm definitely feeling pixel fantasy roguelite fatigue.
This has enough style going for it that I will pick it up.

I don’t like pixel art games. I’m actually tired of seeing them, but this one caught my eye, way back when they showed the 1st trailer for it. I like the way it animates. I’ll give it a shot... unless the reviews are horrible

FINALLY!!!! I've been excited about all these delayed indies and this is one of my most hyped ones. I love how they tweaked magic in this game and the customizations are dope. Now I just need a switch date for hollow knight and moonlighter!
Is this... a Kickstarted game that didn't get delayed for years and suffer multiple set backs? Good for them, I'll have to look into this.
How odd. I spoke to the dev's on Twitter not that long ago and they assured me personally that they would hit "sometime in April for sure". Well, they also said the game was content complete and that they were putting it up for review, so maybe thats the cause for the delay. Well, this is still good news. 3 weeks away is not that long so of course I can hold on till then. A good game is always worth the wait.
I'm looking forward to this one.

Finally, forgot the title of this game but the gameplay trailer i saw months ago was so slick. Really hope it delivers, patiently awaiting the review.
