Collectible figures don't usually come much cuter than Good Smile's Nendoroid range and, while we never expected to find The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Guardians cute in any way whatsoever, we suddenly find ourselves in a position where we are contemplating purchasing about 20 of the things just to dot around the office.
Scheduled for release in August, the package comes with some optional parts including a powerful beam attack attachment and a translucent sheet that recreates the “Game Over” screen from the game. There is also an Ancient Bow that can be used together with the Breath of the Wild Nendoroid Link sold separately.

If you're wanting your very own adorable Guardian, you can pre-order it now from Play Asia. If you don't want to splash out the cash, at least you can now stare at these images each morning and be smothered in happy thoughts. Lovely.

The "Game Over" makes it worth it.
I love it and I want 10 please
I'm already anticipating the wealth of quality photography that will come from that "Game Over" screen.
That has to be the most unorthodox Nendoroid design ever.
It's certainly a pleasant surprise that I'll be happy to add to my collection.
@H1B1Esquire
Yeah that's the best part of it. Awesome.
Very cool.
I have the Amiibo version - will have to be enough. $48 is a bit much for me.
The game over is the best part I love it.
Death is not supposed to be cute. How dare you trick me!
Looks very good but 47$US its clearly too much.
Aww he's adorable!
cue sound of proud owners being blasted in the general body area
Jokes aside, I want this to go with my Guardian amiibo, but at the same time I don't wanna pay for it. 😂 Maybe for my birthday.
😦😍
lol
How is an obnoxious, unsentient death machine so cute?!
Very nice.
I really wish I knew what was their formula was for which nendos get elbows and knees and which only get swappable limbs. Overwatch has them, but not Zelda. Marvel/DC does, but not most anime.
Lol they just gave it short legs and called it chibi
Yet this small difference made it incredibly cute, look at those tiny little claws awwww O_O
You guys would spend around $960 to put 20 of those around your office? Don't you have rent to pay?
Really tempted to pick this up. It's so adorable!!!!
@Sir_Anthony I know, right? So adorable! They also made the "head" of the guardian bigger, making the ratio closer to a proper nendoroid. XD
These mini-tendrils just make me think its growth was stunted or sommin'.
Look at its lil hands. Instant buy.
As neat as that is, how about a life size one with moveable legs and a massive laser pointer... Obviously you'll need special eye gear to protect your eyes from the laser... Perhaps a stereo that plays a dramatic piano solo within it.
Cute!
