Just last month we reported on Shelter Generations, a Nintendo Switch exclusive title which includes both Shelter 2 and Paws: A Shelter 2 Game, and now Circle Entertainment has revealed more details regarding its upcoming release.
Arriving very soon in March, this package will include the two games mentioned above plus DLC, two 'living books', and two soundtracks. Both games are set within the same, intriguingly artsy world, with the first title following a mother lynx as she raises her cubs, and the second allowing you to play as a cub yourself. Check out some features of the games below.
· Shelter 2 – Play as a mother Lynx, raising and protecting your cubs in a beautiful but challenging world
· Paws: A Shelter 2 Game – Guide a cub through detailed landscapes in a unique narrative adventure
· Perfect for headphones – Listen to the full soundtracks for both Shelter 2 and Paws
· Go further into the story – Read and experience two ‘living books’, each telling a unique tale
· Play in the TV, Desktop and Portable modes
· A Switch console exclusive
Further details on this release and confirmation of its exact launch date will be coming soon. Until then, what are your initial thoughts? Make sure to let us know in the comments.

Initial thoughts, concept sounds cool.
Not a huge fan of the art style, but seems interesting nonetheless.
Looks great to me but hasn’t reviewed too well elsewhere. Will see how it fairs on Switch.
This reminds me of Tokyo Jungle on the PS3!
I might pick it up on Switch if I'm not busy with everything else.
Looks good, but not sure what you actually do and how controls work, so will reserve judgement
I checked out the lynx to some reviews, but they gave me paws for thought.
The first game was a short but memorable experience so I'd happily check this out at the right price.
This looks like that Black Tiger game on Ps4 if that game had an actual art direction and decent soundtrack.
Awwwwwwwww. This looks like a sweet game.
I'm interested but this looks like the kind of game that will be $20-25 and digital only, which I'm not much interested in.
@Ooyah That was a pretty catty way to litter all over a game of a different stripe. Honestly I'm a bit purrplexed there's no online, but I guess they're worried about cheetahs.
I don't really know what previous Nintendo game to compare this to. It is atmospheric and can be a bit repetetive; but I believe that's to get used to the gameplay. The game is on Steam. Check the reviews out, it's a solid game. I've bought both versions of the game and have enjoyed them.
@justin233 Went to Steam to see how it's reviewed there, and it's reviewed very well (4.5 out of 5), but there's a huge discrepancy with Metacritic (58%). :
As long as the port's performance is good, I'll be picking this up on Switch. I've long meant to get around to it on PC but kept pushing it off.
I'll probably wait for a review.
I just need to know what the gameplay is about and wether its good enough to over ride those weird graphics. I love animals and the concept in theory of raising a litter could be intriging, but those graphics are just weird and bordering on being too weird/bad.
Ambitious graphic style that could do with some animation polish. Also doesn’t bode well that the trailer was making me drowsy.
Day one for me!
I Think I'll have to pass on this one, no, I know I'll pass. This game looks weak.
