Chance The Rapper - a rapper, who happens to be called Chance - is known for his incredible skills on he mic, his work as an activist and as the lead vocalist of The Social Experiment, but he also happens to be a pretty big gamer, too. In fact, the man known at home as Chancelor Jonathan Bennett wants one of the most popular games of 2017 to makes its way onto Nintendo Switch.
Fornite is the focus of his desire, and the hip-hop artist even tweeted direct at Nintendo Of America to see if such a port was possible. Of course, this isn't the first time the subject of Epic's battle royale shooter has been raised with Switch in mind. With the game's executive producer - the wonderfully-named Donald Mustard - confirming it was something the studio would like to do at some point. A noncommittal response, and potentially a throwaway one too, but with Microsoft potentially planning to buy PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds and turn it into a permanent Xbox One exclusive, this might be one avenue to bring the battle royale craze to Switch.

@NewAdvent I'm 99% sure that when Online Services comes out, there will be a major game which uses Voice Chat and the online services itself will come out. It just has to be.

It would be a perfect game to launch alongside Nintendo's paid online service.
I decided to listen to some of his stuff to see what he was like. I like his style, though not enough for me to listen to him in any regular fashion.
Fortnite would be nice though.
Unreal Engine 4 was designed with high adaptability in mind, so no doubt can they optimize a version of Fortnite for Switch, even with the more limited memory the Switch has.
While they're at it, they might as well port the regular co-op Fortnite, as Battle Royale is not really my thing.
Call me overly-optimistic, but I think we see Fortnite on Switch at least by the end of 2019. Heck, maybe this could even be a game Nintendo asks Epic to launch alongside the Nintendo Switch Online service.

I believe that Fortnite will be announced for Switch at E3. This is an Epic game and UE 4 is an Epic engine. There is NO reason that the game cannot come to Switch. I believe the system will be getting system-level voice chat in Sept. so that really paves the way for the game. Of course, it is just an opinion mixed with a bit of wishful thinking. Cheers.

Sure, Fortnite would work well on the Switch. It would also be a great fit - aestheticly and regarding the target audience - just as Overwatch would be.
But I'm confused, how would MS want to make PUBG an XB1 exclusive? It's already available on PC/Steam and played by millions of people.

Anyway, this game looks fun enough for me to try. Splatoon 2 is great at almost everything, but is ruined by a broken rank system. Splatoon is better than its sequel by orders of magnitude! How does Fortnite handle ranks and matchmaking?
Never heard of this guy; then again His music isn’t my type. But if it brings more games its all good.
