Pokkén Tournament DX has found a great new home on Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo continues to show support for the arena brawler with some new Pokémon that recently arrived as DLC. If you're as yet undecided on the game, or you've yet to get the new downloadable content, then this new footage from GameXplain should help you get to know DLC Pack 1 a little better.
The footage also shows off plenty of other Pokémon, including Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu, so you should have plenty to mull over if you're thinking of adding this Wii U port to your collection. Let us know what your thoughts are on the latest additions to the fighting roster...

So Aegislash is out already. I might want to buy the DLC now.
It's already out? I thought I had more time! Time to buy the DLC!
In the video, it looks like there's room for 2 more support Pokémon and 1 more playable Pokémon after the next batch of DLC. This means the Blastoise pack probably won't be the last DLC.
Not really bothered about a giant sword.

So many Pokémon to pick from and they chose Aegislash to add to the roster. I didn't know it was that popular.
Price seems a tad high for one new character.
As fun as Pokkèn is, I'm gonna skip this.
I know it's silly to shout out "HEY NINTENDO MAKE THIS", but if Nintendo wants to support games with more DLC, I'd be all over ARMS and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as well as more single player content for Splatoon 2.
@Nomad This is part one of two. Part 2 includes Blastoise with Mew and Celebi for support.
@JTMnM I wonder if they're leaving room to add a new Pokémon from the Switch game later.
I downloaded this last night and gave it a go. Aegislash is a welcome addition and I much like his unique play style. The thing that interests me is that they added him to the top of a brand new column in the character select screen with two blank spaces below him. If Blastoise will be taking up one more of those spots, is there a third new character incoming to fill out the roster?
I cannot wait to get home today, sit down, and hit the lab with this character! I've been going through a character crisis in this game and hoping I have FINALLY found a character that properly gels with me!
I forked out another £50 for this game on Switch expecting it to be the complete version and then they release paid dlc for it, really these characters should be free.
I commend adding this dude. Blastoise is a basic choice, so I love interesting choices like Aegislash way more. Hope the other character/characters added later are more like this, and less generic like Blastoise
