A new listing on the European eShop has revealed that Her Majesty's SPIFFING, a point-and-click style adventure game released on other platforms at the end of 2016, will be released on Nintendo Switch on 1st February.
Focusing rather heavily on British humour by comically digging into stereotypes, the game sees you venturing into space after the queen establishes a new, Galactic British Empire. You'll be solving puzzles whilst soaking up the script and exaggerated voice acting (something that features in this new trailer for the Switch version of the game).
The game received mixed to positive reviews across other consoles and currently has a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam; we'll be sure to test this one out on Switch when it arrives to see just how well it plays. In the meantime, though, what do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments (using ridiculously over-the-top British voices, please).

Absolutely preposterous. How dare they impugne her majesty’s honour so. I won’t stand for it.
this... looks interesting! day 1 for sure.
@gaga64 For those unwilling to stand, there will be chairs provided.
I saaaay , Bloody charlottens !
This game is a liar and scoundrel and I shall have nothing further to do with it.
Do it for her majesty!!
As a proud Englishman, I shall probably be making a purchase of this game as it does seem rather splendid. Can't be ignoring our dear Liz, especially if she calls us into space
@onex - I laughed more than I legally should have at that.
I say! This sounds like it could be a rather good lark! May give it the old college try and drop a few bob on this old thing.
Roiston! Fetch my Credit Card! We must ensure this blossoms on my Switch’s UI lest Lady Dahlia thinks we are an uncultured yobo!
I do love British comedy. I wonder if they’ll include a fish fingers joke?
Sounds Strong and Stable.
Im ambivalent about the Royals but I do like me some British style bants. Gettting this I reckon...
@Paraka @onex
So did I. And I subconsciously read the comment in the voice of John Cleese.
I like the look of this. I'll make sure to start queuing for its release.
Well, you didn't disappoint with the comments. Good job
@Dogorilla that's the spirit old bean. We do like a good queue, tally-ho!
I will only buy it if it has this on the title screen:
If it has a cricket minigame, I’m all in. Since it’s space-based, I’ll also accept a Krikkit minigame.
Needs more corgis
@edhe : As great as that would be, I doubt that they would be legally permitted to use the insignia without the express consent of Ms Liz (or whoever makes those decisions on her behalf).
Incidentally, there are some products that feature the insignia, such as the Dettol range.
Anything mocking royalty can be entertaining in my book. I might have to make a European Nintendo account now.
But, what do you do on it? Is it just a point and click job?
Lol, set after the Brexit?
Game could be fun.
After seeing how they stole the vacuum joke from Airplane2, I wonder how much other stuff has been nicked??
Hopefully this is not the start of seriously bad shovelware making its journey onto Switch
