Can't wait for this beauty, I'll be downloading it as soon as I've got my Switch in my hands after getting home. I've got a feeling it's going to be a big success on Switch.

This game isn't for me (tried it out when it was a PS+ giveaway and hated it), but it'll be a fantastic match for the Switch hardware.

Curious to try, especially know it has cross-platform play with all the other versions. Most of my friends have this on PC (and a few on Xbox), so this is really a major plus. ^^

I have it on PC and my major gripe with it is that, even after two years, they still have not made their own party system to group up with other systems.

(although thats apparently in the works now. wink wink nudge nudge.)

Day one of course. Love it on xbox but it calls for short gaming sessions which makes the Switch the best possible platform for this

Will it have split joy-con support?

@Captain_Gonru Has a physical version been announced? If so, I will hold out, but I don’t recall hearing anything about one.

@Shade_Koopa It's cross-platform with Xbox and PC but not PS4, because Sony is basically being a Mara about cross-platform play. Sounds like that won't affect you and your friends, but it's worth knowing.

Most played game on my PS4. Been taking a break from it since I heard about switch version. More hyped for this then Mario and Mario was a day 1 purchase. Can I get this sooner then day 1?

Once i know that the port is as described Im on board. Played this almost daily for past 2 years. Probably my most played game of all time by now.

Wish it has a demo version. Still not sure whether to buy the game. Haven't had the chance to try this on other consoles/PC.

@janfritz The game is only 20 bucks, so if you don't like it shouldn't set you back too far. I feel you on wanting a demo though.

@janfritz I recommend watching video or streams, the people are whether competing, sorta competing, or just goofing off, are just having a good time.

@DefHalan Single joycon can’t work, you literally need every button on a standard remote to play this.

@Jaredfrogman "need" is a strong word. They use every button on a standard controller, doesn't mean everyone uses every button. Single Joy Con would definitely be for casual players. Want to get more competitive, move to a more standard controller. Single Joy Con could work

Glad to see this much enthusiasm. This game managed to turn soccer - virtual soccer, at that - and make it fun.
Keep your soccer-related snarks in line, you yankees out there - I was talking about soccer video games, and that's beside the point anyway; the real point is, this game deserves to be played and with it coming to Nintendo Switch there's never been a better time to do so!

As someone who is reasonably crap at driving games and equally crap at soccer games, I'm expecting to be appalling ... but I still want it

I want it, but I'll wait. I'd rather have a physical copy, and there are just way too many must-have games coming out right now.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I personally love the soundtrack for this game, it has several great tracks that really get you pumped up. If any of you have played this game before, you know what I’m talking about.

@DefHalan I suppose if you’re doing season mode and never want to learn to aerial, single could work. I don’t think Psyonix would want many people to try single joycon, you’d miss out on the experience of the game. Does the switch version even support split screen? I can’t imagine it could, especially online.

@DefHalan They showed it as an option in the trailer! I am curious how this is going to work, probably a simplified control scheme for single joycon.
EDIT: actually I take that back - the screen at that moment still shows single player. :/ Let's see, it's only a week to release.

I will buy it but it won't be next week LOL I am just getting my switch tomorrow, and will be tapped out money wise.
