Everyone loves a good discount and in Europe of Nintendo has slashed the prices of eight Wii U and 3DS games with discount rewards which are now available on My Nintendo. It's a good excuse use up those pesky platinum and gold points you may have been hoarding.

30% off Tank Troopers (3DS) – 150 Platinum Points
20% off Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS) – 450 Platinum Points
20% off Art Academy: Atelier (Wii U) – 35o Platinum Points
20% off New Art Academy (3DS) – 350 Platinum Points
Gold Points:
50% off The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Wii U & New Nintendo 3DS) – 40 Gold Points

One of these days, I'm going to pick up captain toad!
I'd be nice if it came to Switch, maybe as a discount or something.
Edit: Goodness, Captain Toad must be good, everyone hear keeps telling me to get it, haha.
My Nintendo sucks.
Gold points are ridiculous. A tiny amount of points if you buy physical games, and tons if you buy the same game digitally. BS.
Either already own them, offers for games I don't want or the deals aren't good enough.
Aria voice My Nintendo needs to evolve or die!
Awful. Bring back Club Nintendo!
It's so weird that after all this month, there is still nothing at all available for the Switch on My Nintendo. Basically, if you don't have any other Nintendo devices attached to the same account, those coins you are earning are utterly useless. You earn them just so that they can eventually expire
@Kalmaro Captain Toad is such an overlooked title. It really is a great game and a great unique experience on the ol' Wii U.
So we getting tired of the "No switch support" yet? Like why bother giving us points from Switch purchases if we can't spend them before they expire?
My Nintendo lol.
A good laugh I tell you
Man, I miss Club Nintendo... Got a SNES Classic Controller before it was cool.
Worthless. Starting to think I would've been happier if they disbanded the rewards program entirely when Club Nintendo ended because at least then you'd know you wouldn't get anything worthwhile as an extra. Now you just get useless points that you can't use because everything you can do with those coins is either stuff that doesn't interest you or stuff that you already have anyway and get irritated over it.
@Kalmaro It's incredibly charming.
My Nintendo is seriously a joke. In NA, we got some Sonic discounts to "celebrate" the release of Sonic Forces. Rewards have been terrible for the past YEAR AND A HALF of My Nintendo and Nintendo shows no signs of improving it.
@Kalmaro That being said, do pick up Captain Toad; it's one of my favorite Wii U games!
@Kalmaro ohhhh you will LOVE Captain Toad! Its brilliant
@yeayeanaynay
I don't know. Did you?
Federation Force is already getting a discount?
Of course it backfired, Nintendo.
Christ, these make those 'bottom-of-the-barrel' rewards from Club Nintendo like the 8bit wrapping paper and gym bags actually worth a damn!
Most people who complain about Federation Force haven't even played it. Get a friend and enjoy some great co-op campaign action.
@Kalmaro it’s great fun
Everyone does love a good discount. Except Nintendo.
@Kalmaro I have the same thinking. I hope they launch a remaster on Switch (and since he shows up at Mario Odyssey, I would not doubt that).
@Ralek85 probably they they will release something for Switch when the online service becomes paid (somewhere next year).
I need to waste my coins on something, but wasting them on a percentage off Wii U games just seems pointless, i've already got twice the amount of games on my switch compared to my Wii U.
Just hurry up with switch rewards, or please some more full games for 3DS
Bring back Club Nintendo so i can use the points on some silly mario stickers
@EVIL-C I think most were just disappointed because they wanted another single player metroid game. So really, no matter how good Federation Force was, it was doomed to be disliked.
I feel like if they did not make it metroid themed in any way it probably would have been better accepted.
If Federation Force was half off, I'd get 2 copies and play it with my wife
What a joke.
The only acceptable discount on Federation Force is 150%. Nintendo should give US money to play it...
Might as well make Federation Forces a budget game, there's no way anyone's going to pay full price for the game after the backlash it got and the other more traditional Metroid on the same system....
I would love Captain Toad on my Switch, you hear me Nintendo?!
Also Paper Mario Colour Splash would be nice..!
obviously we still have lots of 3ds and wii u owners but its anyone new switch owners have nothing to do with there points. Still I predict we will finally get switch rewards once the online service is up and running not before that
I will get Link's Awakening as I have been meaning to pick it up and the 50% off is a nice incentive as I have nothing to use my gold coins on.
@1UP_MARIO A sad laugh...
@Nekoo77 I'll be clapping at it as well. Love your avatar
@1UP_MARIO Thank you! Gotta love Peach.
XD "Europe of Nintendo"? Did Nintendo finally unseat Sony and Microsoft and conquer Europe?
@LegendOfPokemon: Generally I would agree with you, but I'll admit that I was slightly thrilled when I found that Golden Sun: The Lost Age was on discount. I don't check My Nintendo often, and I don't believe that NL ran an article for October's NA offerings.
Club Nintendo was legions better, and at this point I'm losing what hopes I did have for this "replacement". However it is, at the end of the day, better than absolutely nothing...though not by much. The fact remains that I have found some of the discounts useful, though I would prefer full game offerings.
There should be no expiration in gold points... That way early Switch adopters aren't going to lose opportunities to spend on the system that they are actually playing.
Next month I start losing Gold points (lost quite a few Platinum points the last few months)....about time Nintendo got rid of the 'soon' for Switch rewards and do something....ANYTHING!!
(Skins would be nice!)
Where are my Switch rewards?
@yeayeanaynay
Well, hasn't Samus Returns healed the wounds?
Love how Nintendo doesn't give a poo about the Wii U anymore and say they've moved on and yet they give Wii U offers? How hypocritical.
Why not 100% off? These rewards are really useless.
@samuelvictor By all means, if you love it, talk about it!
@Yasaal Watch the language please...
"Europe of Nintendo"
The My Nintendo rewards scheme continues to be such a depressing waste of potential. Honestly, Nintendo are either clueless on how to reward its customers in terms of worthwhile, genuine discounts of value or they are simply plain greedy. Either reward your customers for buying your full price products or don't. As it stands, it's little more than an insult.
Apologies for my grouchiness. Fatigued by the lack of improvement in this service since it launched.
store.nintendo.com has Captain Toad for $20 with the amiibo. At least in NA. I don’t know if there is a European equivalent of that website.
still nothing much to get if you only own a switch, come on Nintendo you can do better.
I fear they care not for their newly created user base, my points will start to expire before there is anything for me to get at this point. i have almost all of the images sets that have become available already.
@yeayeanaynay
Kind of a pity. The 3DS still has something to say, methinks
@NinjaSyao GET SPINAL TO DO A ULTRA COMBO ON IT!
@Joeynator3000 Oi did you edit the comment? Lol it makes it look better now.
Europe of Nintendo
Still bleeding coins. When's the Switch dscounts coming?
@yeayeanaynay
Who hasn't?
