Piczle Lines DX is certainly a tempting Switch eShop game for fans of visual puzzles, offering a blend of-sorts between Sudoku and Picross. We were fans in our review, and were also impressed at the volume of puzzles; there's content to keep players busy for quite some time.
Publisher Rainy Frog has now confirmed, however, that a free update this week (on 21st September) adds another 20 puzzles - this time they have a 'Horror' theme, with one example below.
You'll find these puzzles in their own pack at the bottom of the Puzzle Mode section.
So yeah, this game has a lot of puzzles...

Nice, this game is really cool for a puzzle lover like me, can do very short sessions while waiting outside, I'm glad they give us more content
Remember the days when you bought a game you got the whole entire game? These days it's more like buying a blueprint for what potentially could become the game.
Don't get me wrong, 'free' content is almost always a plus, but those without internet - yes, some such cases do exist - are being left out of the loop.
@Pazuzu666 "Those without internet" can't buy these games in first place. Neither can those without consoles.
@Pazuzu666
If people don't have access to the Internet, then maybe the Switch isn't the best console for them to get? A Wii might be more suitable for them.
@Pazuzu666 From a developer's point of view, you can pour months of work into a game and get very few sales to reward your effort.
Making a game smaller initially and seeing if it is popular before pouring more time into extra content as free add-ons makes a lot of sense.
More free puzzles for this very nice game!
Can't have enough of them!
Perfect for on the go.
I'm on the 128x128 puzzle now... a single huge puzzle and I'm playing this single stage on and off for like a week now.
Love this game! It's totally taken over my Switch.
Been interested in this one for a while...now just given in and bought it
@Pazuzu666 That's not really an issue for this game. It's got tons and tons of content that comes with it already. In fact, I'll bet nobody has beaten all the levels that come with it yet, not counting the additional dlc.
@dequesi there are many without reliable internet ie hotspots, , free WiFi at restaurants, or live near restricted areas ; military bases etc... Or where WiFi isn't reasonably affordable.
