"What would Metroid's music sound like if it were performed by Vangelis?" This was the question that birthed a new 70 track, 5 disc album by retro gaming enthusiast, music creator and Nintendo Life contributor Gonçalo "Shiryu" Lopes.

Shiryu has created works based on franchises like F-Zero, Castlevania and Star Fox, and his latest album - Metroid Legacy: The Samus Aran Chronicles - will launch next week on Friday the 15th. You can check out some exclusive, pre-release samples below.
