When you’re a games fan there are many way to show off your fandom. Aside for keeping the games on display in mint condition there's figures, books, posters, clothes and all sorts of other things. Shoes featuring popular gaming franchises have become popular in the last few years as well. Mario, for one, has had his image grace several editions of footwear. Sonic too, has joined in recently. Now Capcom is putting its best foot forward (sorry for the pun) and releasing four sets of shoes in Japan.

The shoes feature images from Street Fighter II, Mega Man, Monster Hunter and Makaimura (Ghosts ’n Goblins in the West). The Street Fighter and Makaimura versions feature multiple sprites from the games all over the shoes, whereas the Mega Man and Monster Hunter designs are a little less intense. You might even get away with wearing them on casual Friday without anyone noticing. The shoes all feature some hidden artwork on the heel too, with the coolest one being the Yellow Devil on the underside of the Mega Man shoes.

The shoes are not available just yet, but pre-orders have been open since 14 July and range in size from 22-29 cm, with some of the larger sizes already sold out.  All the shoes sell for 9800 yen plus tax (About £68, 75 Euros or $90USD) and will ship in mid-November. There is no international shipping and ordering the shoes requires registration to the site, which also requires navigating the website in Japanese. However if you can handle that and will be in Japan later this Autumn, you might find your perfect fit.

To see more images and to place and order if you can, check out the Super Groupies website. Oh, and if shoes aren't your thing, they also offer Street Fighter themed lingerie in Chun Li and Cammy designs. But, that's up to you!
