Through its most recent Direct Nintendo made the case for ARMS, the upcoming new IP on Switch. We were introduced to new modes, characters and stages, and the end result gave us a rather positive picture of a game with plenty of depth, colour and personality.

As you may have seen we shared detailed preview impressions right after the broadcast as we'd been hands on with a lot of the new modes and characters. We also captured a lot of footage, though of course can only share a limited amount.

So, our previewer Steve Bowling and video man Alex Olney teamed up to pick out some of the best bits; below you can check out the three new characters that were introduced along with some 2v2 local multiplayer action.
