Following its launch last week, Nintendo has detailed the sort of post-launch content we can expect for Fire Emblem Heroes.

Speaking with IGN, game director Kouhei Maeda said the following: "We plan to add new stories continually after release, at a pace of about two a month or one every two weeks." As well as that, further support includes new characters, skills and new game modes that differ from the current offering.

The promise of more content down the line for Fire Emblem Heroes signifies the eagerness of Nintendo and partners to ramp up support for its mobile apps. The company's previous mobile title, Super Mario Run, was slow to receive support on that scale - by mobile standards - following its release last December, but events are popping up in-game and a recent update added an 'Easy Mode'.

This gives us hope that Nintendo's future mobile games, such as the untitled Animal Crossing game, will see interesting - and regular - updates and additions after launch.
