Remember CDs? They were those shiny discs you can still play in most car stereos. We jest, the Japan-exclusive The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert CD looks seriously cool.
Out on 15th February 2017, this lovely 2-disc release will set you back ¥3,000 (around £20 / $25) plus tax; Amazon Japan is listing it for ¥4783 at the time of writing (about $40 / £32). The first print limited edition comes with a DVD of the game footage that played during the concert, which is syncronised with the concert audio.
The CD contains the entire concert which was recorded on 16th October this year at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall.

Love it if Nintendo would release this and their gaming soundtracks too. I got some with club nintendo and they're wonderful. Most recent one was i imported the Kid Icarus Uprising one and it's fantastic.
Want so much! Went to see the Symphony of the Goddesses tour in UK and have been wanting to own the whole shebang ever since! Will be scouring Japan for this the next time I go!
Is this a different thing altogether from the Symphony of the Goddesses?
Must admit, Im starting to get a little annoyed with their attitude of holding fans ransom to hear the Symphony. Not everyone can afford a ticket, that is, if the Symphony even bothers to come anywhere near you!
Release a CD already. 5 years is a bit of a joke.
Why not just release this stuff to at least your other two big markets, NA and EU? At times it can be hard to be a fan of a company primarily out of the country.
I wouldn't mind that at the right price.
Being a trumpet player AND Zelda player myself, I would really like to hear this.
The title is right, Japan DOES get all the best stuff...
Just tell me the Title Screen theme from Triforce Heroes is in, and I'm in.
@Tsurii yes they did. I put it on my iPhone and still listen to it now and then.
Torrenting, ho!
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Would 50 cents be good or still too high?
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy No need for the senseless comment. €25 would be fine.
I am in Japan - so I will be getting this!
There won't be a western release. Will have to import and the prices will high
Damn! It's got the visuals too!
Nintendo, don't make the video content exclusive to people who can get their hands on the first print edition; those people just end up selling it for a stupid high price. Just upload it to YouTube, or even better, make it a downloadable video, like with Pikmin Movies HD, but as a My Nintendo reward.
I can highly recommend CD JAPAN for importing .I've been using them for years for Super mario related stuff and they're really good.
I'll be importing. Getting the regular edition; I don't have a region 2 dvd player.
@Ryu_Niiyama you can ripp the DVD from the computer and burn a new DVD with your region.
Imported it. It shall be shipped by FedEx international. I like FedEx
@Tsurii They did, got one with my copy of Skyward Sword. Unfortunately it got damaged by a friend. Moral of the story; never trust anyone with your CDs
I might import at least for the music CD but the DVD won't work in US.
We wants it!!!
I just feel like if I wait, it won't come West and then it'll skyrocket in price in a month... What to do? 😒
Any suggestions on importing? I've never imported before.
