If you remember the unveiling of Volcanion in late 2015, kudos for the good memory. Details of Pokémon number 721 were given, but the actual distribution was only outlined as something to look forward to. It's taken ten months, but the Fire / Water type is now rolling out for the current-gen games.

It's a retail-led distribution, and so far there's information for North America and a handful of PAL countries.

  • In the United States it can be obtained at Gamestop. It runs until October 31st.
  • In Canada it can be obtained at EB Games. It runs until October 31st.
  • In the UK it can be obtained at GAME stores. It runs until 23rd November.
  • In Australia & New Zealand it can be obtained at EB Games until October 31st.
  • In the Netherlands it can be found in Bart Smit, Intertoys & ToysXL stores until November 30th 2016.
  • In Belgium, it can be found at Dreamland and Broze et Fun stores until November 30th.
