The Wii U has a handful of group party games of various types, from mini-game collections to budget quiz releases and more besides. Now ACT IT OUT! is coming to the system, a 'Game of Charades' - previously seen on PS4 - that also throws in aspects of Pictionary and singing.

For starters the trailer below gives you a good idea what this one is about. In this case lovely photogenic people gather in a comfortable home to have fun on the Wii U; it's not quite the hive of scum and villainy that this writer's gaming gatherings resemble, but that's probably for the best.

Developer Snap Finger Click has emphasized that Mii cuteness is included, there over 1500 secret phrases to act out, draw or sing, and is also keen to point out that this release will have plenty of language support.

ACT IT OUT is completely optimised for a ton of languages and countries: English (US/UK/Global), French, Italian, German, Spanish (Latin American/European) and Dutch are all supported, with hand curated content for each individual country. The game also features incredibly catchy music, composed and recorded by Dom Beken who you might remember from his BAFTA-nominated music on PixelJunk Shooter. Oh, and the game has cats!

Development's currently being wrapped up with a target to release it in about a month. Do you like the look of this one?
