Earlier this weekend we shared a gallery of the recently released Vans x Nintendo collection, highlighting some of our favourite designs in the range. The shoes are typical Vans prices (£50 / $70 approx for sneakers), but it's perhaps not advisable to spend too long dwelling on whether to take the plunge.

Regular Nintendo Life tipster Doctor OverBuiild has pointed us to an article by Engadget from just before the collection's launch, and it says "a Vans spokesperson told Engadget that the Nintendo line will only be on sale for a short period of time". Stock doesn't seem to be an issue so far, at least on the UK version of Van's website, though whether much additional stock will come after initial sell-through is unclear with comments around a 'short period of time'.

It's worth bearing in mind. As an aside, while looking at what other retailers are selling the shoes in the UK we found that Schuh is boasting of exclusive designs; sure enough they're not on the official Vans site. Two different designs are dubbed the 'Villains' and 'Era' shoes and can be seen below.

Are you grabbing anything from the broader range, or does it not appeal to you? Let us know in the comments.
