They say that the early bird catches the worm, but then again night owls can swivel their heads up to 270 degrees and get to see the latest episode of Game of Thrones before everyone else. It's stiff competition!
Following on from the success of the recent SpongeBob SquarePants Splatfest, the next event in North America wants to know what time of day you are at your peak. So are you an early bird or a night owl?
Head to Inkopolis Plaza soon to pick your feathered favorite, and then prepare to meet your rivals on the Splattlefield. The Splatfest will run all night and all day starting 24th June at 9pm Pacific (midnight Eastern on 25th June) across North America. All the details can be found here.

early birds ftw, even if we will be way less than the other guys
I'm so conflicted.
I'm up with a baby on and off throughout the night. Then my toddler typically wakes between 5-6 in the morning. I guess I'm kind of both?

Most older players will choose Night Owl, and the night is when a person is the most creative.
@amiiboacid This of course is not true. It depends on person and there is no scientific consensus on such thing as creativity anyway.
Most of what people call creativity is practice and hard work anyway.
Nintendo, get your act together! I want to fight for my team in ranked modes, especially Rainmaker and Tower Control! Why has not this been added yet? (Turf War is boring.)
I always opt for the underdog in these cos they usually win but I don't think I can this time.

I'm a night owl by choice, but a early bird by nature (unwillingly). So I'm going knight owl.
Now that I think about it, I haven't played Splatoon in a long while. I main come back for the Splatfest, even if I don't care for the snails anymore.

@Timppis I've seen a few scientific abstracts about the topic, and I have most of my ideas late at night.
