Along with Splatoon, Super Mario Maker was a notable success story for the Wii U in 2015. Though neither title could ultimately transform the console's sales performance, both earned critical acclaim, pleased existing fans and reminded many of Nintendo's ongoing prowess in producing hit titles.

The level creation tool has certainly captured the imagination, with some stages being rather extraordinary compositions that can only be mastered be the most skilful and persistent players. Portraying this in 'real life' seems like a crazy idea, but where there's a will (and YouTube) there's a way.

This production by 'MyNameisBanks' has been over two months in the making, all produced by one man. A parody trailer for a Super Mario Maker movie, it has a particularly fun section focused on Super Expert levels.
