We saw plenty of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during E3, with Nintendo making it the focus of its first day of live streaming and also earning a lot of media coverage for the playable demo on the show floor. Overall the response was extremely positive, with the game arguably being Nintendo's most ambitious to date.

Open world systems-driven titles like this are rather new to Nintendo hardware, so it's interesting to see Digital Foundry's take on it, using demo footage from the Treehouse team and also referring to hands-on time from LA. The channel breaks down the mechanics and visuals, pinning it at 720p (predictably) while also running its framerate software against footage. Somewhat reinforcing impressions from the show it delivers a fairly solid 30fps, but there are dips on occasion.
