SteamWorld Heist has been an excellent title to date on the 3DS eShop, with 'The Outsider' DLC recently giving players a little more content. Many have been waiting for the HD version, however, and there's now been some progress on that front.

In the latest episode of 'The Engine Room', Image & Form has confirmed launch details for the PS4 and Vita - it's coming to those platforms on 31st May. Steam (PC) is going to be shortly after, and then Wii U will be in line along with Xbox One and iOS. It's not a firm window, as such, but at least shows that the studio is now making quick progress on the HD releases; the video is below, which includes a trailer for the HD version.

Below are some extra screenshots - though they're of the PS4 version, Image & Form has assured us that it "will look just as good on Wii U". Is this on your radar for a potential summer purchase on Wii U?
